As a follow up to the sold-out season opener of the riveting regional premiere production of William Jackson Harper’s TRAVISVILLE, Soul Rep Theatre Company continues its dynamic TO DALLAS, WITH LOVE 2022-2023 season with Michele Riml’s delightful comedy, SEXY LAUNDRY.

In December, Soul Rep Theatre Company will kick-off its 2022-2023 season – TO DALLAS, WITH LOVE – with Dallas native, celebrated television/film actor and playwright, William Jackson Harper’s searing drama, TRAVISVILLE, inspired by Jim Schutze’s book, “The Accommodation.”

Roundabout Theatre Company's world premiere of Primary Trust by playwright Eboni Booth, directed by Knud Adams, will star Emmy Award nominee William Jackson Harper (“The Underground Railroad”) and Obie and Outer Critics Circle Award winner April Matthis (The Piano Lesson).

The Guthrie Theater has announced the cast and creative team for Sally & Tom by Pulitzer Prize winner Suzan-Lori Parks, directed by Steve H. Broadnax III. Sally & Tom will play October 1 – November 6, 2022, on the McGuire Proscenium Stage.

Baltimore Center Stage has announced the complete cast and creative team for Our Town. Written by Thornton Wilder and directed by Stevie Walker-Webb (The Folks at Home), Our Town begins performances on Thursday September 15 for a limited run through Sunday October 9.

The 24 Hour Plays welcome new and returning artists alike for Season Three, Episode Five of The 24 Hour Plays: VIral Monologues tonight. From 6PM ET, these monologues will be published on Instagram and Twitter @24hourplays every 15 minutes.

Santa Cruz Shakespeare today announced it will open its summer season with the exciting World Premiere of The Formula by Kathryn Chetkovich, directed by Ellen Maguire in a co-production with Blissfield, during its summer festival July 10-Aug. 28 in the Audrey Stanley Grove in DeLaveaga Park.

Joining Tracee Ellis Ross (“Black-ish”) is Pamela Adlon (“Better Things”), Cole Escola (“Search Party”), Jojo T. People’s Light will present Bayard Rustin Inside Ashland, the world premiere of a play with music inspired by the true story of West Chester, PA native Bayard Rustin. Chief organizer of the 1963 March on Washington and openly gay Civil Rights activist, Bayard Rustin was nearly written out of the history books.

Yesterday, March 11th, the American Film Institute (AFI) celebrated the 2021 AFI AWARDS honorees with a star-studded invite-only luncheon in Beverly Hills. AFI also revealed its official rationales (below) for all 23 honorees, providing the cultural and artistic context to mark these outstanding creative endeavors as the year’s notable milestones.

Offerman joins previously announced series stars William Jackson Harper and Cristin Milioti, with Skyler Gisondo, Luis Gerardo Méndez, Nina Bloomgarden, Gabriela Cartol rounding out series leads and Ben Sinclair, Parvesh Cheena, Debby Ryan, Dylan Baker, Michael Hitchcock and Becky Ann Baker as recurring guest stars.

Nominations for the 2021 Critics Choice Awards were announced this afternoon and a slew of Broadway favorites are in the running at this year's ceremony.
