The League Of Off-Broadway Theatres And Producers is proud to announce the nominations for THE 20TH ANNUAL LUCILLE LORTEL AWARDS FOR OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT OFF-BROADWAY, which will be presented on Monday, May 2nd at Dodger Stages (340 West 50th Street) at 7 PM. A late night supper will follow at Ruth's Chris Steak House (148 West 51st Street). A cocktail reception to congratulate all of the nominees will be held on April 18th at Ruby Foo's Uptown (2182 Broadway at 77th Street).

Tony award winners Karen Ziemba and Donna McKechnie, Urinetown's Jeff McCarthy, City of Angels's Leslie Denniston, and Tony-nominated Lara Teeter will star in Barrington Stage Company's production of James Goldman's and Stephen Sondheim's masterpiece Follies. Broadway veteran Marni Nixon will also be featured. Artistic Director Julianne Boyd will direct and Lara Teeter will choreograph. Follies, presented in celebration of Sondheim's 75th birthday, will run from June 23 through July 16 at the Consolati Performing Arts Center, Sheffield, MA.

Rob Maitner, Bistro Award winner for his critically-acclaimed turn in Fairy Tales, makes his solo cabaret debut in BASKET CASE: A SINGSPIEL FOR THE UNHINGED. From Rodgers and Hammerstein to Alanis Morrisette, from Green Day to William Finn, BASKET CASE is a musical romp through the cluttered mind and frenzied emotional state of a man teetering on the edge. With musical director and former drum major Ray Fellman by his side, Mr. Maitner lends his powerful vocals and unique way with a lyric to a variety of songs from the worlds of musical theatre and pop.

One performance only at The Zipper Theatre on Monday, April 11, 2005 at 8pm.

THE ARTISTS SHOWCASE SERIES presents a reading of THE UNAUTHORIZED AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF SAMANTHA BROWN, a new musical with music and lyrics by BRIAN LOWDERMILK, concept by ZACH ALTMAN and book and lyrics by KAIT KERRIGAN at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 3, at Makor, 35 West 67th Street, between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue.

The evening is directed by Jason Eagan and musical directed by Mary Mitchell Campbell.
