While it feels like an eternity since we last heard those words, fortunately, they will grace our television screens yet again in less than one month. On one hand, this talent-filled, multi-faceted show returning to Pprimetime feels like a front row seat at a Rayna James concert (which, literally, happens to be the very first episode- get ready for a live broadcast of our favorite Nashville singers). On the other hand, it's been so long since the season 2 finale that we're a bit hazy on everything that went down. Before Nashville attempts to catch you up in its cliché pre-show 30 seconds, allow me to step in and review.

Good morning, BroadwayWorld! Because we know all our readers eat, sleep and breathe Broadway, what could be better than waking up to it? This weekend's big news: LOVE LETTERS begins previews Saturday, off-Broadway gets crowded with shows tonight, including STALKING THE BOGEYMAN, Broadway celebs get together to tribute Elaine Stritch this evening, and THE UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN hits the stage in Denver!

Superstar duo Florida Georgia Line will perform live on the season premiere of “Nashville,” airing WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET/PT) on the ABC Television Network. FGL will perform a song live for the east coast and then again for the west coast airing of the show. This is the first time that a real-life recording artist has performed live on the series, and the premiere will also include the previously announced live solo performances earlier in the show by “Nashville” stars Chris Carmack and Charles Esten.

FlynnArts Summer Youth Theater opened THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD on Thursday, July 31 at Burlington's FlynnSpace at the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts.

[As characters] we are all closed off, and finally at the end of the story, we are loosened; we become individuals again.' Speaking is Kristen Martin, who plays Ariel in Maine State Music Theatre's final season production of Footloose, which runs from August 6-23. Her co-star, Eric Sciotto, agrees that his character, Ren, is 'on a journey to find himself after being abandoned by his father. Ren sees in Ariel a troubled soul who reminds him of himself. They recognize immediately that they are kindred spirits.'

Members of the cast of Broadway's LENNON, including Will Chase, Chuck Cooper, Marcy Harriell, Chad Kimball and Michael Potts reunited at New York's newest hot spot 54 Below last night.

On Wednesday afternoon, friends and family of Tony-nominated actress Kelli O'Hara gathered for an intimate luncheon at Lidia Bastianich's famed New York restaurant Becco. Jason Robert Brown, Steven Pasquale, Greg Naughton, and Lidia Bastianich herself raised a glass to O'Hara and her achievements this season in Bridges of Madison County. Just last night, Manhattan Theatre Club presented its annual Spring Gala an evening of cocktails and dinner followed by a special evening highlighting some of Broadway's most exciting shows. The special night featured performances by Fantasia Barrino, Adam Jacobs, James Monroe Iglehart, Kelli O'Hara, Nick Cordero, Brooks Ashmanskas, Jefferson Mays, Bryce Pinkham, Lena Hall, Caissie Levy, Andy Karl and more.
