The Road Theatre Company and Taylor Gilbert, Founder/Artistic Director together with Sam Anderson, Artistic Director, have announced that their critically-acclaimed (LA Times CRITICS CHOICE, Stage Raw TOP TEN) first show of its 2016-2017 season, EDWARD ALBEE'S THE PLAY ABOUT THE BABY, written by Tony award-winning playwright Edward Albee and directed by Andre Barron, is extending again, now through Saturday, December 10 at the Road Theatre Company's second home, The Road on Magnolia, located in The NoHo Senior Arts Colony, 10747 Magnolia Blvd. in North Hollywood.

The World Premiere of All Mixed Up by John J. Enright, the writer of O'Brien & O'Brian, debuts at the Prop Theatre. This two-act comedy explores the challenge of maintaining love and trust in an era of nontraditional relationships. In All Mixed Up, a lesbian couple expecting a baby is on the verge of breaking up. Although Beth and Carrie agreed to have a mixed-race baby, Beth secretly sought a black donor. The situation is all mixed up - even if the baby isn't!

This fall Merrimack Repertory Theatre (MRT) presents the regional premiere of Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa's 'Abigail/1702', the haunting play that asks what might have happened ten years after the Salem witch trials. At the center of the story is Abigail Williams, the young accuser of 1692's Salem Village, as she tries to begin a new life after the hysteria has subsided-yet remains haunted at every turn by terrors of the past. Greenhouse Ensemble managing director, Reanna Armellino and artistic director, Hazen Cuyler have announced the dates and times for its Fall production, 'The House of Yes' a comedy by Wendy MacLeod.'It's the kind of play that we passed around to the company members and everyone just laughed and laughed, said Cuyler, who also directs. 'People were actually laughing out loud,' added Armellino, 'So the decision was easy.'

Pioneer Theatre Company, Utah's premier professional theatre, will open its 2016-17 season with the THE LAST SHIP, the new musical with music and lyrics by the pop superstar Sting and book by the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning writers John Logan and Brian Yorkey. PTC's production will be the first since the show's Broadway run in 2014-15.
