Undermain Theatre will be rescheduling the planned coproduction of Lonesome Blues to its upcoming 38th season. This decision was made in an effort to ensure that the production can be performed live and enjoyed by audiences as the live event it was created to be. On Saturday, June 19th at 7pm, New Orchestra of Washington will present Juneteenth Celebration: Lift Every Voice! The performance will be held at the newly built, outdoor, Strathmore Patio Stage on the Trawick Terrace (10701 Rockville Pike), and will mark the first live audience performance for NOW since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
