GLAAD Media Award recipients were announced in 17 of this year's 31 media categories at the 27th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, presented by Delta Air Lines, Hilton, Ketel One Vodka, and Wells Fargo at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on Saturday night.

Theatre for a New Audience has announced complete casting for A DOLL'S HOUSE, in an adaptation by Thornton Wilder not seen in New York since its Broadway premiere in 1937, and August Strindberg's THE FATHER, in a new version by Scottish author David Greig (Strindberg's Creditors at BAM) commissioned by Theatre for a New Audience.

Broadway's Anna is headed to Connecticut this summer! Long Wharf Theatre will welcome Tony Award-winning THE KING AND I star Kelli O'Hara at its annual Gala on Monday, June 6, 2016.

GLAAD, the world's lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) media advocacy organization, announced today it will honor multi-platinum selling recording artist Demi Lovato at the 27th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles at the Beverly Hilton on April 2, 2016.

Returning for his 57th consecutive year as a Las Vegas headliner, internationally distinguished comedian, actor and entertainer Don Rickles will perform at The Orleans Showroom on April 9 and 10.

The evening was a celebration of Roundabout's 50th Anniversary and recognized the accomplishments of six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald and Roundabout's Chairman of the Board Tom Tuft and present them with The Jason Robards Award for Excellence in Theatre. Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) and the Board of Directors (Tom Tuft, Chairman) have embarked on a $50 million Anniversary Campaign to ensure the future of the 50- year- old not-for-profit institution. The campaign was announced last night at Roundabout's Spring Gala at the Waldorf Astoria, honoring six-time Tony Award-winner Audra McDonald and Chairman Tom Tuft.

Full casting has been announced for Promethean Theatre Ensemble's production of James Goldman's The Lion in Winter, according to Brian Pastor, director of this production and artistic director of the company. Leading the cast as King Henry II of England and his wife Eleanor of Acquitaine, the roles immortalized by Peter O'Toole and Katharine Hepburn in the 1968 film version, will be Brian Parry and Elaine Carlson. Parry, a Jeff award winner for supporting actor in Redtwist's Shining City, is a four-time Jeff Award nominee and recently earned raves for his portrayal of George in Redtwist's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf along with his roles in Redtwist's Red and the currently playing The Drawer Boy. Parry has previously appeared with Promethean in The Lark. Carlson was a Jeff winner for Famous Door's Salt of the Earth and was seen recently in Eclipse's A Perfect Ganesh. She has performed previously with Promethean in Tiger at the Gates and A Study in Scarlet.
