THE CHOSEN ONE, a queer coming-of-age musical by Eli Cohen, is holding a private industry reading directed by Mack Brown (Pictures From Home, I Can Get It For You Wholesale) on Monday, November 6.

The movie highlights the history and significance of Hoover Dam and includes performances from two unique sets of Billy Idol’s iconic hits: a full band concert at sunset with special guests that electrified and illuminated the surrounding Black Canyon and an acoustic duo set on the roof of the powerhouse at the foot of Hoover Dam.

The new reworking, which is from a forthcoming EP of remixes of tracks from Pole’s latest album Tempus, sees Sleaford Mods take the glacial-paced brooding stepper of “Stechmück”, completely reworking it with their skewed pop sensibilities. Bouncing beats, squelching basslines and watery electronic echoes accompany Jason Williamson’s worldview.
