The Acting Company (Margot Harley, Co-Founder and Producer), America's best known touring repertory theater, will honor Emmy Award-winner Tom Fontana, educator and student mentor Paul Fontana, and Acting Company Co-founder and Producer Margot Harley at a Gala Benefit evening on Monday, November 9th atCapitale (130 Bowery - between Broome & Grand Sts). Both of the gentlemen will each be presented with the Warburg Humanitarian Award for their outstanding philanthropic endeavors on behalf of children, education and the arts, while Ms. Harley will be saluted for her 43 years of leadership and achievement as she steps down as Producer of The Acting Company.

International Chanteuse Adrienne Haan, one of Europe's and America's most electrifying concert and cabaret stars, will make her Carnegie Hall debut at Weill Recital Hall on October 29, 2015 at 8:00pm with her production of Tehorah. The concert is in celebration of the 50th anniversary of German-Israeli diplomatic relations. Patrons of the event include the German and Israeli Ambassadors to the United Nations, and Rabbi Arthur Schneier.

Music Mountain, America's oldest continuing summer chamber music festival, continues its 86th anniversary season with a mid-season benefit concert featuring the famed Juilliard String Quartet on Sunday, June 28th (3PM) performing Haydn, Webern, and Schubert. The weekend also welcomes Cantata Profana, performing the music of Stravinsky on Saturday, June 27th (6:30pm) and a solo performance by Kim Kashkashian, viola as the second offering of the Distinguished Artist Recital Series tonight, June 26th (7:30pm). Jazz, country, folk groups plus opera and musical theatre join world-renowned string quartets for an extended summer of music. Concerts are scheduled thru September 27th.

Music Mountain, America's oldest continuing summer chamber music festival, continues its 86th anniversary season with the Calidore String Quartet and guest artist Daniel Phillips, viola on Sunday, June 21st (3PM) performing Schubert, Caroline Shaw, Mendelssohn, and Brahms. Also this weekend, America's foremost Gilbert & Sullivan repertory ensemble, the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players, honors their 40th anniversary season on Saturday, June 20th (6:30PM) including a special pre-concert dinner at The Falls Village Inn (5PM). This weekend also marks the beginning of the new Distinguished Artist Recital Series - a series of three evening recitals todays (7:30pm) featuring the talents of this summer's visiting faculty. Music Mountain has a long-standing tradition of bringing musicians of all ages to Gordon Hall. This weekend is a glowing example of this mission - the young Calidore String Quartet is embarking on their 4th year as an ensemble, while The New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players are celebrating their 40th year! Chamber music, country, jazz, and folk concerts will continue thru September 27th.

Music Mountain, America's oldest continuing summer chamber music festival, launches its 86th Anniversary Season on Sunday, June 14th (3PM) with a gala performance and reception featuring David Finckel, Cello and Wu Han, Piano, Artistic Directors of Chamber Music Society at Lincoln Center. This weekend marks the beginning of another record-breaking summer season filled with numerous Music Mountain debuts, first time guests, a new recital series, and the continuation of the Saturday evening twilight series that welcomes jazz, country, and folk groups from around the region. Concerts are scheduled to run thru September 27th.
