Show Boat will have one preview performance in Issaquah on Wednesday, May 13, 2009, and will officially open the following day, running May 14-July 3, 2009 in Issaquah, and July 10-August 2, 2009 in Everett.

Village Theatre Kidstage is proud to announce its spring line-up of exploratory and musical theatre classes, along with Spring Break camps for students of all ages. Some of these classes include ?Story Explorers? for children as young as Pre-K, a wide variety of dance classes?including yoga ballet and tap?and a ?Broadway Foundations? class that focuses its work around the music in the hit new musical Wicked. The majority of these classes begin in mid-April. Classes range from $145-$250 and parents can receive a 10 percent discount when registering more than one student from the same family or when registering for more than one class. One discount per family. Each registered student will also receive one half-price single ticket to any Village Theatre Mainstage production. Well, coming up with the name 'Project Shaw' wasn't particularly original back in 2006.
It certainly wasn't the first NY theatre project and they just keep coming.
In fact, one is hard-pressed to find anything that isn't a project around NY these days.

Tony Todd is in Los Angeles on stage for the next two weeks. The vet Broadway actor is this season's villain on Fox's '24' and also known for his 'Candyman' and 'Final Destination' movies. Now he's starring in the stage show 'The Island,' at the Village Theatre inside the Lucy Florence Cultural Center.
'The Island' was devised by South African actors John Kani, Winston Ntshona, and world renowned playwright Athol Fugard. This is Todd's first extended performance on a Los Angeles stage in more than 20 years. Co-starring in the two-man show is Lovensky Jean-Baptiste, who plays Todd's lieutenant on '24.'

SIS Productions is excited to present the Northwest premiere of The Theory of Everything by Prince Gomolvilas running February 20-March 15, 2009 playing Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 4pm.
