ALWAYS...PATSY CLINE To Play This Summer At Gretna Theatre

This summer, Gretna Theatre opens its 2026 season with Always... Patsy Cline, bringing audiences a heartfelt, toe-tapping tribute to the legendary country singer.

Inspired by the true story of Patsy Cline’s friendship with devoted fan Louise Seger, Always... Patsy Cline is filled with warmth, wit, and unforgettable music. Featuring 27 of Patsy Cline’s greatest hits including “Crazy,” “Walkin’ After Midnight,” and “I Fall to Pieces,” the production invites audiences to sing along while experiencing the lasting connection between two women whose unlikely friendship became lifelong.

The production stars Cayman Ilika as Patsy Cline in her Gretna Theatre debut. This marks Ilika’s seventh time portraying the iconic singer. Her previous credits include MAMMA MIA! at Flat Rock Playhouse and Great Lakes Center for the Arts, WHITE CHRISTMAS, INTO THE WOODS, KISS ME KATE, and ELF at The 5th Avenue Theatre, MARY POPPINS and MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET at Village Theatre, OLIVER! and INTO THE WOODS at Musical Theatre West, and BEATSVILLE at Asolo Repertory Theatre.

Joining her is Alicia Roper as Louise Seger. Roper’s recent credits include A Delicate Balance, Hay Fever, and Blithe Spirit at Walnut Street Theatre. Her career also includes work on Broadway, Off-Off Broadway, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Mark Taper Forum, Seattle Children’s Theatre, Two River Theatre, Florida Stage, George Street Playhouse, Coconut Grove Playhouse, Yale Rep, and Cleveland Playhouse.

Director Michelle Tattenbaum has worked with theaters including The Old Globe, Second Stage, Williamstown, Goodspeed, and Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. She also directs fiction podcasts for Gen-Z Media, including more than 200 episodes of the mystery thriller Six Minutes.

“Always, Patsy Cline is a funny and heartfelt celebration of an unlikely friendship between Patsy Cline and one of her biggest fans,” says Tattenbaum. “The show explores what happens when we meet our heroes, and it all turns out better than we could have hoped for. It’s a celebration of fandom set to the songs that Patsy Cline made famous during her all-too-brief career.”

Performance will run June 4-7 at the Gretna Theatre located at 200 Pennsylvania Ave, Mount Gretna, PA. Tickets can be purchased at the Gretna Theatre's website or by contacting the box office at 717-964-3627.
