In a tribute to Dame Vera and to celebrate the album release, on Sunday 8th November, communities of care home residents across the UK will unite in isolation to join in a virtual mass sing along with The Smiling Sessions brought to you by Shapeshifter Productions, a registered charity, to sing 'We'll Meet Again'.

It is today announced that acclaimed husband and wife composing and producing team James Morgan and Juliette Pochin will release their debut album as duo Piano Hands. Christmas Piano is a reimagined Christmas album featuring brand new interpretations of well-known popular and classical pieces. There will be two singles Fairy Tale Of New York and Jingle Bells released digitally on November 22 2019 with the full album being released on 29 November 2019. Christmas Piano is an album which creates a sound world of relaxing and atmospheric calm, perfect for meditation and mindfulness playlists.

On Wednesday 30th October Alexandra Palace will ring to the sounds of Music Hall, over eighty years since the curtain fell on the last of the great post-war variety shows.

Andrew Lloyd Webber with honoured artists Des O'Connor, Jimmy Tarbuck, Cliff Richard and Tommy Steele unveiled the Wall of Fame, a new art installation by Lee Simmons commissioned as part of the renovations to the Grade II listed facade of The London Palladium. Sited at the theatre's world famous Stage Door on Great Marlborough Street, this ongoing installation is a permanent legacy to the many artists that have headlined at The London Palladium and will provide an intrinsic link between icons of the past and performers of the future.

Following their huge success and highly emotional performances on Britain's Got Talent 2018, The D-Day Darlings have signed a record deal with Sony Music UK.

If Britain had a national voice, the sound of The Bach Choir could make a strong case for representing the UK. Its distinguished musical directors have included Otto Goldschmidt, Adrian Boult, Ralph Vaughan Williams, David Willc*cks and now David Hill.
