Afro B Teams Up with French Montana For JOANA (DROGBA) Remix

Afro B has teamed up with multi-platinum selling rapper French Montana to drop the brand new “Joanna (Drogba)” Remix song and video. With a previous unofficial remix via hip-hop legend Busta Rhymes and an official reworking from African megastar Wizkid, the latest remix had to feature a stellar talent. Enter French Montana, the Morrocco-born, NYC-based artist who exploded onto the charts with the Afrobeats-indebted jam “Unforgettable.” Taking Afro B's original vocal melody and flipping the lyrics, Montana elevates “Joanna” with some bold NYC swagger.

QUICKIE FEST, The One-Minute Movie Festival, Announces Special Jury, Film Slate

Quickie Fest 7, the one-minute movie festival, has announced its roster of Special Jury members and short film slate for its seventh incarnation, which will take place this Saturday, June 29th at 7:00PM at NYC's SVA Theatre. The event will kick off with beer from Brooklyn's Six Point Brewing (included with every ticket) followed by back-to-back short films, all under a minute long. The evening will conclude with the jury awards.

Bob Iger, Camila Cabello to be Honored at Save the Children Galas

Save the Children, the international humanitarian organization, today announced that Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Camila Cabello will be honored at “The Centennial Gala: Changing The World for Children” in New York City, while Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company's Robert A. Iger will be honored at the “Centennial Celebration: Once in a Lifetime” in Los Angeles. AVA is pleased to welcome six new Resident Artists to the opera academy. The incoming class of Resident Artists includes Emily Margevich (soprano), Cody Muller (bass), Zachary Rioux (tenor), Sahel Salam (tenor), Anne Marie Stanley (mezzo-soprano) and Griffen Hogan Tracy (bass). These singers come from across the country, from Philadelphia and Colorado, to Chicago and Princeton, as well as New Brunswick, Canada.

WIT Celebrates Anniversary At The MATCH In Sept

Wit, by Margaret Edson, presented by actor Pamela Vogel opens for eight performances in a limited run; a production in the inaugural year of the Houston Equity Festival a collection of local professional actors, all members of the union Actors' Equity Association, each of whom is mounting herhis own show during the summer and fall of 2019. Ms. Vogel (Leap and the Net Will Appear Catastrophic Theatre) plays Vivian Bearing, and Vance Johnson (Bootycandy Theatre) and (Passing Strange Standing Room Only Productions) directs.

World Premiere Of SAFE SPACE Opens In Previews Tomorrow
