​​​​​​​TheatreSquared (T2) Artistic Director Robert Ford and Board President Todd Simmons today announced that the board of directors has invited Shannon A. Jones, TheatreSquared's talented general manager, to serve as the company's new executive director.

TheatreSquared (T2) Board President Todd Simmons and Artistic Director Bob Ford announced that the company will undergo a leadership transition this September, when longtime Executive Director/Producer Martin Miller will depart to take on the role of Executive Director for the Tony Award-winning McCarter Theatre Center in Princeton, New Jersey.

The Jefferson Performing Arts Society has announce the appointment of Robert DeViney as its new Executive Director.  With his extensive experience in operations and a proven track record of success, DeViney brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to further elevate JPAS as a prominent cultural institution in the region.

​​​​​​​TheatreSquared's A Christmas Carol—a beloved Northwest Arkansas tradition that debuted with the company's new building in 2019—will return to the stage December 1 and continue performances through Christmas Eve. Adapted by T2 co-founders Amy Herzberg and Robert Ford, the inventive, magic-filled T2 original production is directed by Herzberg and associate director Bryce Kemph.

WWNO 89.9 FM and Jefferson Performing Arts Society are partnering to bring back Culture Collision!  After a two-year pandemic hiatus, Culture Collision 12 returns on Wednesday, September 21, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Jefferson Performing Arts Center in Metairie. The last Culture Collision event was held in August 2019.  

Jefferson Performing Arts Society, the 45-year-old non-profit performing arts institution dedicated to presenting musical theatre, dramas, ballet, orchestral concerts, and youth programming, will be taking on the management of the Jefferson Performing Arts Center at 6400 Airline Drive in Metairie, effective July 1, 2022.

For the past eight years, multi-award-winning piano teacher Ingrid Clarfield has held piano recitals that had a fundraising component.

Jefferson Performing Arts Society brings its third production of the new year to the Jefferson Performing Arts Center with the timeless 1940s dark comedy Arsenic and Old Lace from February 26-March 7, 2021. 

Jefferson Performing Arts Society continues its presentation of nationally touring comics with a?oeThe Comedy Zonea?? on Friday October 16 and Saturday October 17 at the Westwego Performing Arts Theatre (177 Sala Avenue, Westwego, LA).  

Maestro Dennis G. Assaf (Co-founder, General/Artistic Director) and the staff welcomed new Executive Director, Timothy Todd Simmons, Monday at the Westwego Theatre Campus.

The Board of Directors of Jefferson Performing Arts Society welcomes a new executive director, Timothy Todd Simmons. Simmons brings a dynamic background to the renowned theater company. Co-founder, Maestro Dennis G. Assaf, currently holding the title of Executive/Artistic Director, will assume the new title of General/Artistic Director. The Board and Maestro Assaf eagerly await the energy and extensive business experience Simmons brings to the organization.

TheatreSquared's signature annual celebration supporting education and access to remarkable live theatre will be held on November 14, 2019, at 6:00pm at the Fayetteville Town Center. The evening will feature a command cabaret performance by James Taylor Odom (Murder for Two at T2) and Elisabeth Evans (Once on Broadway and at T2), along with a three-course meal catered by Bordinos Restaurant and wines selected by sommelier François Guilloux. More than 400 guests are expected to attend. All proceeds support the company's education and access programs serving 30,000 Arkansans each year. 

More than 200 supporters of TheatreSquared's Our Next Stage Campaign gathered in the company's near-complete, state-of-the-art new home on Saturday for a black tie celebration as the company announced the new milestone of ninety percent of building funds raised.
