Producer Kevin McCollum announced today that the new musical, Mrs. Doubtfire, will premiere at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre this fall on route to Broadway.  The musical features a book Karey Kirkpatrick and John O'Farrell and music and lyrics by Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick, the Tony Award nominated team behind Something Rotten!  Four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks (Hello, Dolly!) will direct and Lorin Latarro (Waitress) will choreograph.  Ethan Popp (Tina) will serve as Music Supervisor.

JOHN MILLER - the singer, bassist and Broadway Music Coordinator - will release a special 10th Anniversary Edition of his acclaimed album Stage Door Johnny: John Miller - Takes on Broadway on June 21, 2019. The shows performing at this year's West End LIVE in Trafalgar Square have been revealed.

Kevin Black, one of South Florida's best-known producer/director/choreographers, is once again collaborating with award-winning vocalist Mimi J to create a concert program that will appeal to audiences of all ages. The two have worked together several times developing shows that achieved great success - most notably On the Radio: Sounds of the 70s, which debuted at Stage Door Theatre in 2014, and eventually morphed into I Will Survive.  That show went on to play several other area venues. 

Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG award-winning actress Rachel Brosnahan will be honored by Covenant House at A Night of Broadway Stars on Monday, June 3rd at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall, Broadway at 60th Street, New York City, for her advocacy on behalf of young people facing homelessness. 

The top growing current Broadway musicals were Hadestown (13.58%), Tootsie The Musical (12.53%), Ain't Too Proud (12.14%), Oklahoma! (8.66%) and Beetlejuice (8.06%). The top growing current Broadway plays were Frankie and Johnny (12.56%), What The Constitution Means to Me (8.55%), Burn This(7.56%), Hillary and Clinton (6.89%) and Gary: A Sequel to Titus Andronicus (6.22%).

The show is based on The Arcadia by Sir Philip Sidney and Head Over Heels was conceived by Jeff Whitty and adapted by James Magruder. A modern musical fairytale where once-upon-a-time is right now, Head Over Heels follows the escapades of a royal family who set out on a journey to save their beloved kingdom from extinction only to find love and comedic complications along the way! Three seasoned musicians came together to form The Screaming Vultures earlier this year. Frontman Thomas Ribeiro got signed to Island Records in London at the age of 16 leading him to recorded and tour with world-class artists including Tina Turner, Kim Wilde, Malcolm McLaren, and producers such as Gary Katz and Tim Palmer. Liam Jenkins started his music career at the age of 18 in Australia playing drums, touring, and recording with three alt-pop bands. After relocating to New York City, he established Somedays Studios where he's been producing tracks for countless US based acts. Declan Jenkins became a full-time musician as lead guitarist with the New York City-based metal/hard rock band Utopic at age 17.
