The Madison Square Garden Company and Live Nation Entertainment announced that due to overwhelming demand, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure 35th Anniversary Tour with Paul Reubens, a screening of the iconic film followed by a discussion with Paul Reubens about the making of the film, has added a second date at The Chicago Theatre on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 7:30PM.

The Madison Square Garden Company and Live Nation Entertainment announced that Pee-Wee's Big Adventure 35th Anniversary Tour with Paul Reubens, a screening of the iconic film followed by a discussion with Paul Reubens about the making of the film, has added a second date at the Beacon Theatre on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at 7:30PM. Tickets to the newly added performance are on sale now. The previously announced show on Thursday, March 26, 2020 is sold-out.

CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, presented by The American Theatre Guild, opened on Tuesday night at the Kauffman Center for Performing Arts. The staged musical is adapted from the children's novel by Roald Dahl with book by David Greig, music by Marc Shaiman, and lyrics by Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman.

The subtle scent of daffodils filled the theatre as the audience was welcomed with a beautiful scene that looked like it was straight of a fairytale. The floor of the deck opened slightly to reveal a space filled with bright, vibrant yellow flowers. 'Daffodils' and 'fairytale' are the two keywords that could be used to describe the wonderful and fantastic musical, BIG FISH. The Korean premiere of BIG FISH had its first show on December 4th, 2019 at the LG Art Center.

2020 marks 35 years since Paul Reuben's classic, quirky sensation Pee-wee's Big Adventure hit theaters. A critical and financial triumph at the box office, the 1985 comedy, Pee-wee's Big Adventure, starring and co-written by Reubens grossed over $40M domestically and made Pee-wee Herman a household name. The movie marked the feature film directorial debut of Tim Burton and the first major studio film for composer Danny Elfman, beginning the now legendary filmmaking duo's partnership which has resulted in 16 films over the last three decades. The movie is a timeless classic that continues to entertain and enthrall generations of fans to this day.

The previous record was held by SCHOOL OF ROCK with a gross of $1,506,236.20, for the week ending December 27, 2015.
