FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents a first-time ever NYC concert event featuring the songs from Taking My Turn! The score from the Outer Critics Circle Award-winning musical will be celebrated in what's sure to be an extraordinary and memorable evening. The concert will feature Brenda Braxton (Smokey Joe's Café, Chicago), Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll & Hyde, Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark), George Dvorsky (Scarlet Pimpernel, Passion), Nina Hennessey (Cats, Dreamgirls), Sally Mayes (She Loves Me, Closer Than Ever), Alan Wager (Beauty and the Beast), Andre Ward (Escape To Margaritaville, Rock of Ages), and  Karen Ziemba (Bullets Over Broadway, Chicago).

Donaco Smyth is a Los Angeles based actor and writer. He is a founding member of Neo Ensemble Theatre and has acted in plays and musicals on both coasts. His play Capsized Flotsam has been produced in L.A., NYC and in Melbourne, Florida. Another full length play, Annoyed by Life is currently published by Heuer Publishing. In 2013, his short film, a?oeWay of Seeinga??, played in five film festivals around the country.  Professionally, Donaco's performed the roles of King Henry II in Lion in Winter, Falstaff in a?oeMerry Wives of Windsor, Daddy Warbucks in a?oeAnniea??, a sullen criminal on a?oeLaw & Ordera?? and tons of original roles by various writers at Neo Ensemble Theatre in Los Angeles. (The Wall Street Journal), Tony Award-nominated play by two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage will be directed by Kimberly Senior (Disgraced on Broadway). Sweat begins performances at the Huntington Avenue Theatre (264 Huntington Avenue, Boston) on Friday, January 31, 2020 and runs through Sunday, February 23, 2020. PuSh International Performing Arts Festival to Present Western Canadian Premiere of FRONTERA

PuSh International Performing Arts Festival (PuSh) presents the Western Canadian premiere of Montreal choreographer Dana Gingras' visually arresting new work, FRONTERA, for one-night only, January 30, 2020 at 8pm at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Gingras and her internationally lauded dance company, Animals of Distinction, collaborate with the experimental post-rock band Fly Pan Am and members of the UK-based collective United Visual Artists to create a provocative multimedia experience of motion, sound, and light.

Spafford Announces Winter Tour

Spafford have announced their Winter 2020 headline tour. The 39–date trek gets underway January 15 at Houston, TX's White Oak Music Hall (Upstairs) and then travels the U.S. through early April. Among the tour's highlights is a three–night–stand at Brooklyn, NY's Brooklyn Bowl, set for February 7-9 and including a very special acoustic only performance on February 9. Photo Flash: First Look at CAMBODIAN ROCK BAND at La Jolla Playhouse

La Jolla Playhouse presents the Oregon Shakespeare Festival production of Cambodian Rock Band, by UC San Diego MFA Playwriting alumna Lauren Yee, directed by Chay Yew, featuring music by Dengue Fever. A co-production with Portland Center Stage at The Armory, Cambodian Rock Band will run November 12 – December 15 (press opening: Sunday, November 17 at 7pm) in the Playhouse's Sheila and Hughes Potiker Theatre.

Tennis Announces Tour Dates, New Album Out February 14

Acclaimed indie-pop duo Tennis has announced plans for a major North American headline tour. The dates get underway February 25 at Kansas City, MO's Madrid Theatre & Café and then continue through early May. Highlights include top-billed performances at Boise, ID's Treefort Music Fest (March 27) and Atlanta, GA's annual Shaky Knees Music Festival (May 3).
