Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) just announced the fourth annual Roundabout Underground Reading Series, a five-night event that includes nightly readings of new plays written and directed by emerging artists, curtain speeches by Roundabout Underground artist alumni and post-show receptions.

The popular song and dance extravaganza is back! Digits. Dig It! is the 12th original production by stop/time dance theater, and opens Friday, March 20 at 8:00 p.m. (with preview shows tonight and Thursday, March 18-19 at 7:30 p.m.)

Luis Salgado, who is currently nominated as Best Director for the world premiere production of Zuccotti Park The Musical, at the Venus/Adonis Festival, will direct a brand-new, Spanish-language production of David Mamet's explosive contemporary classic Speed-the-Plow.

My name is Luis Salgado and at the moment I'm very excited to be a nominee for Best Director at the Venus/Adonis Festival for Zuccotti Park, the musical. To me, the nomination only means that I must work harder to continue moving forward. It also confirms that the process of Art with a Purpose is effective to me, and my company. It's really a process of growth and it's paying off.

Book and lyrics by Catherine Hurd and music composed by Vatrena King, with musical direction by Joshua Coyne. This new musical about the 'Human Side of Economics' will have 4 performances and close the 2015 Venus/Adonis Festival.

Zuccotti Park, a new musical with book & lyrics by Catherine Hurd and music composed by Vatrena King about the human side of economics, will be produced by Salgado Productions at the NYC Venus/Adonis Theater Festival. Venus Theater Festival presents BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN (MONDAY: FEB. 16, Curtain 6:15 PM; FRIDAY: FEB. 20, Curtain 9:00 PM; SUNDAY: FEB. 22, Curtain 4:30 PM) at the Robert Moss Theatre.

Director/Choreographer Luis Salgado won the Best Director award last night (September 5) at the closing ceremony of the 2014 NYC Thespis Festival. Salgado was chosen out of the forty-one other shows that were part of the festival this year for his direction of Song of Solomon.

Song of Solomon: A New Musical by Andrew Beall & Neil Van Leeuwen has been nominated for BEST PLAY/MUSICAL and BEST DIRECTOR, Luis Salgado, out of 41 shows from the Thespis NY Theater Festival.

Buffalo playwright James A. Marzo's play Cyrano Of Borough Park will receive its world-premiere production at the Thespis Theater Festival in New York City. The production opens today, August 14th, 2014.

After the critically acclaimed, World Premiere production of the Musical Comedy, "COUPLED", Jimmy Ferraro's STUDIO THEATRE, 5732 Main Street, New Port Richey, FL presents the third production of the Summer Season, "The SINGING DIVAS of BROADWAY & HOLLYWOOD", a Musical Cabaret, starring Broadway Diva DEE ETTA ROWE and Opera Diva MARY ANNE EDWARDS with Debbie Snyder and Elicia Nystrom. The stakes are Solomon's life, the woman he loves, and the fate of Israel.'

FACT (Friends Always Creating Theatre) is participating in August with the Cabrini Repertory Theatre and their Thespis Festival with a one-act comedy, 'If the Pink Pump Fits' by Jack Dyville, Artistic Producing Director of FACT. Three performances are set for Thursday August 7 at 8:45pm, Friday August 8 at 6:15pm and Sunday August 10 at 9:30pm at Roy Arias Stage II, 300 West 43rd Street, 4th floor, in the heart of the theatre district, NYC.
