FIDDLER ON THE ROOF Actress Replaces Daisy Eagan in Off-Broadway's DADDY ISSUES

David Goldyn Productions presents the World Premiere of DADDY ISSUES, a new comedy by Marshall Goldberg. Directed by David Goldyn, previews begin March 31 at Davenport Theatre with opening night slated for April 7. The production will now star Kate Katcher, who debuted on Broadway in Fiddler on the Roof opposite Zero Mostel and repeated the role of Tzeitel with Herschel Bernardi, directed by Jerome Robbins. She also appeared in Wonderful Town with Lauren Bacall and Two for the Seesaw directed by Judith Ivey. Katcher replaces Daisy Eagan, who leaves the cast to star in Wit in North Carolina.

UNTIL DEATH DO US PART debuts in New York City

Until Death Do Us Part is a new play, which will debut on February 22 at the Hudson Guild Theater as part of the Venus Adonis Theater Festival. This dark comedy is written by Catherine Hurd, and directed by Valeria Cossu.

Tickets to Pipeline's Matchstick Series Now on Sale

This January, Pipeline Theatre Company presents seven never before seen plays written by its PlayLab Class of 2016 in this year's Matchstick Series: Strange Tongues at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe (236 E. 3rd St, New York, NY). This year's PlayLab includes: Matthew Barbot, Jen Browne, Gina Femia, Reina Hardy, Jacob Marx Rice, Callan Stout, and Amy E. Witting. Performances will be January 13-15th at 7PM. Early bird tickets ($15) are now on sale and regular tickets ($18) go on sale on January 1st. Tickets are available for purchase online at www.pipelinetheatre.org/tickets. The show runs approximately 75 minutes, with no intermission.  

Cast Announced for East Coast Debut of Lynn Nottage's SWEAT at Arena Stage

The new drama Sweat by Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage (Ruined; By The Way, Meet Vera Stark) comes to Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater following a critically-acclaimed debut at Oregon Shakespeare Festival as part of a co-commission between the two theaters. Hailed by The New York Times as an 'extraordinarily moving drama' that 'brims with the kind of ripe, richly imagined life associated with the work of the great August Wilson,' the play is directed by Nottage's longtime collaborator Kate Whoriskey and runs January 15-February 21, 2016 in the Kreeger Theater.

New Pop/Rock Musical WE ARE THE TIGERS Opens Tonight at Hudson Backstage Theatre

Heart and Flame Productions presents the World Premiere Pop/Rock Musical, WE ARE THE TIGERS, book, music and lyrics by Rebekah M. Allen, musical direction by Patrick Sulken, choreography by Jacob Brent and directed by Michael Bello. WE ARE THE TIGERS is produced by Matthew P. Hui, Geri Silver and Evan Bernardin. WE ARE THE TIGERS recently completed an artistic residency at New York City's Musical Theatre Factory, where it presented two sold-out workshop performances in August, 2015.

Battalion Theatre Stages UNHEALTHY at The Kraine Theater, Now thru 10/24

FRIGID New York @ Horse Trade will present Battalion Theatre's production of Darren Caulley's new play Unhealthy, directed by Kelly Teaford. The production will run tonight, October 7, through the 24th at The Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery).

George Primavera to Star in GHOSTLIGHT Staged Reading

George Primavera will play the principal role of Jack Pickford in the highly anticipated staged reading of GHOSTLIGHT the musical on Thursday, October 22nd at 9:00 PM. The creative team announced Primavera's casting yesterday, along with the full list of ensemble members. The role of Florenz Ziegfeld, Jr. will be cast shortly.

CASSIOPEIA Set for Thespis Theater Festival

Mademoiselle is about to marry a man she's never met in a place she's never heard of.  She gathers directions and clues from dream-like characters and past-life memories until she finally faces her groom.  Does she recognize him? 'Cassiopeia' utilizes text, song, movement, and the French language to tell a peculiar story of fate.
