The New Vic Theatre and Kenny Wax Ltd will co-produce brand new stage play Tom, Dick and Harry this summer.

The cast has been announced for Northern Broadsides and New Vic Theatre's world premiere co-production of As You Like It. Drawn from across the worlds of stage, TV and film, including award-winning productions, the 12 fabulous Northern actors include non-binary and disabled performers.

Marking the company's first full scale touring production since Quality Street was curtailed by the pandemic in March 2020.

The world premiere stage production of everyday hero Neil ‘Nello’ Baldwin’s story Marvellous will be performed from Friday 11 March to Saturday 9 April. The story of Nello’s extraordinary life has previously been adapted into a BAFTA winning film and a book.

This Christmas, the New Vic Theatre takes the classic story of Beauty and the Beast back to its roots, for a magical retelling of the much-loved classic, from Friday 26 November 2021 to Saturday 29 January 2022.

The New Vic Theatre will work with three Associate Artists – Khaos Theatre, Quick Duck, and playwright James Morton – across the next year, as part of the theatre-in-the-round's relaunched Kiln Associates programme.

The theatre has notified all actors and freelance staff contracted for the project and will honour all payments for these employees, and the New Vic's Box Office team are in the process of contacting all existing ticket holders for the show to discuss their options with them.

The New Vic Theatre, based in Staffordshire, is offering three companies the opportunity to be an Associate Artist at the theatre-in-the-round for one year from September 2021, as part of Kiln Associates, their artist development scheme.
