CHELSEA TABLE + STAGE will present two special shows with stage and screen star Eden Espinosa on Thursday, October 6 and Friday, October 7, both at 7:00 PM. In this intimate evening of music and stories, Eden reflects on her roots and offers a glimpse of what’s to come.

The Grand Theatre’s High School Project – the only of its kind in North America – returns to open the Theatre’s 2022-2023 season with Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s Tony Award-winning musical, Into the Woods. Directed by notable Canadian actor and director, Saccha Dennis, Into the Woods plays September 20 to October 1, 2022 for twelve performances on the Spriet Stage.  

The Public Theater has announced complete casting for the world premiere of PLAYS FOR THE PLAGUE YEAR, written by and featuring Pulitzer Prize winner and Public Theater Writer-in-Residence Suzan-Lori Parks and directed by Bessie Award winner Niegel Smith.

Soho Rep will present Montag, written by Kate Tarker, directed by Dustin Wills and with original opera music by Daniel Schlosberg. The world premiere production of Montag runs October 12–November 13 at Soho Rep.

Come Fall in Love – The DDLJ Musical, directed by Aditya Chopra, with book and lyrics by Nell Benjamin, music by Vishal Dadlani and Sheykhar Ravjiani, and choreography by Rob Ashford, runs through October 16, 2022 at The Old Globe. On Tuesday, September 13, nine record stores in New York City will celebrate the 22nd anniversary of the original 2000 film, Almost Famous, with an Almost Famous-inspired vinyl selection of records curated by Cameron Crowe, Academy Award-winning director, writer and co-lyricist of the new Broadway musical of the same title.

CHELSEA TABLE + STAGE will present Grammy Award-nominated singer and songwriter Mykal Kilgore on Sunday, September 25 at 7:00 PM. Kilgore will perform original selections from his acclaimed debut album, A Man Born Black, in addition to his latest single “The Man in the Barbershop.”

Sutton Place Parks Conservancy (SPPC), in conjunction with Jarrett Winters Morley and Sunrise East 56 (SE56), will present South Pacific On The River, on Tuesday, September 20 at 2:00 PM. This free hour-long concert of songs from the legendary Broadway musical, will be held in the 56th Street Park, just east of Sutton Place. The performance features four lead singers, 16 ensemble vocalists, and a 32-piece orchestra. 

George Takei, the original and beloved Mr. Sulu from 'Star Trek', film and television star, activist and social media icon, is to make his London stage debut in the UK premiere of the Broadway musical inspired by Takei's true childhood experiences, 'George Takei's Allegiance'.

Laguna Playhouse has announced that JoBeth Williams (“Poltergeist,” “The Big Chill”) and Peter Strauss (“Rich Man, Poor Man,” “The Jericho Mile”) are set to star in the upcoming World Premiere production, based on the 1975 ABC Theatre Presentation that starred Katharine Hepburn and Laurence Olivier, of LOVE AMONG THE RUINS.

CHELSEA TABLE + STAGE will present The Golden Girls Live: On Stage! on Saturday, September 24 at 9:30 PM. The show was created almost twenty years ago by Peter Mac and John Mac as a loving drag tribute to everyone's favorite sitcom.

Leapin’ Lizards! The full cast and creative team has been announced for the all-new tour of the iconic Tony Award®-winning musical ANNIE. In the title role of Annie is Ellie Pulsifer, a 12-year-old actress from South Florida, making her tour debut. 

Skylight Music Theatre will stream Kate Baldwin’s Broadway Comes Home, a concert and documentary film, Friday, Sept. 9 through Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022, on Skylight’s website. Broadway Comes Home features footage from Baldwin’s intimate concert last year in front of a small, invited audience on the stage of Skylight’s Cabot Theatre.

54 BELOW will welcome back Jeanna de Waal to 54 Below. The Drama Desk Award nominee returns October 28 & 29 at 7pm. The intimate concert will feature Charlie Savage, one of New York’s finest jazz piano players, as well as hit songs from the Broadway catalog and plenty of personal backstage anecdotes.

Barry Edelstein in Conversation with Nathan Englander will cover Englander’s (The Twenty-Seventh Man, For the Relief of Unbearable Urges) career as a prolific and acclaimed playwright and author, and specifically his current production of What We Talk About When We Talk About Anne Frank.

Pulse Theatre will present Strings Attached, an exciting new American play by multi-award winning Poet and playwright Carole Buggé, which merges the world of physics into a love triangle on a train ride.
