The Seeing Place Theater presents The Whistleblower Series, three plays in rep: The People VS. Antigone, I Am My Own Wife, and My Name is Rachel Corrie from April 21 - May 13, 2018 at the Paradise Factory, 64 E. 4th Street, NYC. The Seeing Theater's eighth Season has focused on bringing together stories that challenge the ways in which we relate to our fellow man. The season concludes with a triple-header: THE PEOPLE VS ANTIGONE, a world premiere adaptation by Brandon Walker, running in rep with two searing one-person shows: I AM MY OWN WIFE, the Tony Award winning play by Doug Wright and MY NAME IS RACHEL CORRIE by Katharine Viner and Alan Rickman from the writings of Rachel Corrie.

Fair Lawn resident Teddy Coluca who plays Mr. Brimley on NBC's The Blacklist  will lead the ensemble in The Company Theatre Group's (Lou Scarpati, Managing Artistic Director)  production of The Underpants, written by Steve Martin, co- directed by Lou Scarpati and Teddy Coluca.

New Yiddish Rep's production of Clifford Odets' 1935 masterpiece AWAKE AND SING! begins performances today (Saturday) at 2 pm, with Opening Night set for December 6th at the Theater at the 14th Street Y, 344 East 14 Street (between First & Second Aves.) A Yiddish version of AWAKE AND SING! was produced on Broadway by WPA's Federal Theatre Project in 1938 and it is this translation that is being performed in the current Off-Broadway revival with English supertitles.
