Award-winning actor and piano virtuoso HERSHEY FELDER will bring a special return engagement of his wildly acclaimed one-man show, HERSHEY FELDER AS IRVING BERLIN to San Diego Repertory Theatre (San Diego REP). In related news, HERSHEY FELDER AS IRVING BERLIN will return to New York later in 2018, with an Off-Broadway run from August 24 through October 28, 2018 at 59E59 Theatres. Hershey Felder also announces that his newest solo work featuring music from the 19th century French composer Claude Debussy, UNE HISTOIRE D'AMOUR A PARIS, A Paris Love Story, will open in the U.S. at a theater to be announced in 2019.

Rubicon Theatre Company kicks off its 20th Anniversary Season with the return of the critically-acclaimed holiday hit CHARLES DICKENS' A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Broadway, TV and film veterans Peter Van Norden (RTC's Taking Sides, Copenhagen) and Emmy Award-winner Joe Spano ( NCIS, RTC's Bucky) reprise their roles as Scrooge and Marley, respectively, in this innovative telling of Dickens' timeless tale of transformation and redemption. Adapted by Producing Artistic Director Karyl Lynn Burns and directed by Brian McDonald, the 27-member cast features many of the same actors from the original production that earned a Critic's Pick in the Los Angeles Times and rave reviews from Ventura County Star, CASA Magazine, VIDA Magazine and the Ventura Breeze. This imaginative version of Dickens' novella offers a revealing portrait of the yearning, lost child inside the cold-hearted miserly man. Actors perform in the storytelling style of the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Nicholas Nickleby, playing characters, animals even dressing gowns and doors! CHARLES DICKENS' A CHRISTMAS CAROL opens in Ventura on Saturday, December 9at 7:00 p.m. followed by an after-party at Rhumb Line Restaurant. Low-priced previews are December 6-8. The show runs Wednesdays through Sundays through December 23.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley continues its 2017/2018 season with the Bay Area premiere of the stunning musical tribute, Our Great Tchaikovsky, written and performed by Hershey Felder, who shattered box office records at TheatreWorks with his acclaimed portrayals of Irving Berlin and Beethoven. Exploring both current Russian politics and historical context, piano virtuoso Felder brings to life the music and story of composer Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in a time-bending tale. The Filigree Theatre, Austin's newly launched women-led theatre company, has announced its cast for the Austin Premiere of A DELICATE SHIP, written by Anna Ziegler. Starring David Moxham (Sam), Laura Ray (Sarah) and Nicholaus Weindel (Nate), directed by Elizabeth V. Newman and produced by Stephanie Moore, the production will run Thursdays through Sundays from February 15 25, 2018 at the Santa Cruz Theatre.

Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced the complete cast of The New York premiere of Anna Ziegler's new play The Last Match, directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch. The cast includes Wilson Bethel as 'Tim,' Alex Mickiewicz as 'Sergei,' Natalia Payne as 'Galina' and Zoe Winters as 'Mallory.'
