Gavin Creel helped breast cancer survivor Carina Ranieri fulfill her lifelong dream of dancing on a Broadway stage. After choosing college over pursuing performing Carina Ranieri found peace by dancing through her breast cancer diagnosis and now she was able to live out her dream by dancing onstage at Into the Woods. Denee Benton, who starred as Cinderella in the off-Broadway run of Into The Woods at City Center earlier this year, will reprise her role in the Broadway run of the production next month.

New York City Center has announced new performance dates for Encores! The Light in the Piazza as part of the 2022 – 2023 season. Due to scheduling conflicts, the Tony Award-winning musical directed by Chay Yew and featuring Tony winner Ruthie Ann Miles will run June 21 – 25, 2023 at New York City Center.
