This November, Broadway and television star Andy Mientus will bring Joni Mitchell's iconic 1970 album Ladies of the Canyon to life at Feinstein's/54 Below.

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) announces full casting for the Theatre Company's production of A Christmas Carol and Off-Center's production of The SantaLand Diaries. The 2018 production of The SantaLand Diaries will mark the final year of the annual collaboration between Off-Center and Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company (BETC).  

Antoine L. Smith will perform at Harboring Hearts Annual Fundraiser at The Stanley Kaplan Penthouse at Lincoln Center on Wednesday, November 7th at 6:30pm.

Fairview High School has taken this show on the road. The school's theater is being renovated so Director, Lanny Boyer asked local directors across Boulder if they would host the show. The Theatre Company at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) is proud to announce playwrights, dates and details for the 2019 Colorado New Play Summit. The 14th annual festival will take place over two weekends, 2/16-2/17 and 2/22-2/24, and feature readings of new plays by Beaufield Berry, Isaac Gomez, Bonnie Metzgar, Tony Meneses, and a new musical by Neyla Pekarek and Karen Hartman. The festival will also feature World Premiere productions by Donnetta Lavinia Grays and Itamar Moses.

Dixie's Tupperware Party, the hilarious off-Broadway one-woman comedy starring Dixie Longate, which took the theater world by storm and garnered a prestigious Drama Desk Award nomination, returns to Los Angeles at the Kirk Douglas Theatre for a strictly limited engagement November 28 to December 30.  The press opening is Thursday, November 29.  Tickets are available at www.dixiestupperwareparty.com.

The Legend of Georgia McBride received its World Premiere at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts in December of 2014 and since then, has become one of the most produced new plays in American regional theatres with productions by Marin Theatre, The Guthrie, Arden Theatre, ACT in Seattle, Cygnet Theatre Company, Hippodrome State Theatre, Uptown Theatres, and others.

The William Inge Center for the Arts is pleased to announce playwright Octavio Solis will be the recipient of the 2019 Distinguished Achievement in the American Theater Award for his outstanding contributions to the national theater landscape. Solis will be presented the award at the 38th annual William Inge Theater Festival, the Official Theatre Festival of the State of Kansas, at Independence Community College, in Independence, Kansas. The festival will be held May 22-25, 2019.
