In Adults 18-49, ABC outperformed the combined delivery of CBS, NBC and Fox by 30% on the evening (4.8/14 vs. 3.7/11). It was ABC's 5th consecutive primetime win with coverage of the 2010 NBA Finals.

I had a most difficult time falling asleep last night. It was one of those nights when something kept going over and over in my mind, preventing sleep from happening. As a creature of the theater, I get most excited by a show that gives me goose bumps and keeps me riveted from beginning to end. Disney and Cameron Mackintosh have teamed to bring us a stage version of MARY POPPINS. Last night, MARY POPPINS opened at the Broward Center. It is a 'Jolly Holiday' for me to tell you, MARY POPPINS is one of the greatest musicals in years.

For the week, NBC ranked #3 in primetime in adults 18-49 and #2 among adults 25-54, men 18-49 and men 25-54.

ABC won the week of May 31, 2010 in Total Viewers (7.2 million) and across all key adult demographics: AD18-34 (2.3/8), AD18-49 (2.6/8) and AD25-54 (2.8/8). Winning among Adults 18-49 for the 2nd time in 3 weeks, ABC (2.6/8) beat out second-place Fox by 30% (2.0/6), third-place NBC by 37% (1.9/6) and fourth-place CBS by 86% (1.4/4).

It was ABC's 2nd consecutive night to claim a dominant primetime victory with coverage of the 2010 NBA Finals.

After a tough set of performances last night, DeWyze was able to pull out the victory and what many considered an upset over runner up Crystal Bowersox. DeWyze was consistent throughout the season, giving great performance week after week and really honing his skills. DeWyze grew an incredible amount throughout the season and was able to turn himself into an 'American Idol.'
