Eminem, Lady Antebellum Top American Music Awards Nominations

Recording artists Demi Lovato and Taio Cruz revealed the 2010 American Music Awards(R) (AMAs) nominees this morning from the JW Marriott Los Angeles at L.A. LIVE (see full list of nominees below). Bon Jovi, P!nk and Usher were also announced as performers for the 38th annual AMAs. Additional acts and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.

Richard Stumpf Appointed President of Imagem Music USA

Richard Stumpf has been appointed President of Imagem Music USA, the American branch of the pop music publishing company owned by Imagem. André de Raaff is CEO of Imagem, which also owns the giant publishing brands Rodgers & Hammerstein and Boosey & Hawkes. De Raaff announced Stumpf's appointment, which starts immediately.

TV: Robert Foxworth Stars in King Lear at Old Globe

Robert Foxworth plays King Lear and Bruce Turk the Fool in Shakespeare's tragedy, directed by Festival Artistic Director Adrian Noble. The crowns are swapped in Alan Bennett's The Madness of George III, also helmed by Noble, where Miles Anderson will play King George III and Foxworth will play Dr. Willis. The Festival also includes Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew directed by Ron Daniels with Jonno Roberts and Emily Swallow as the two sparring lovers.

Harris Theater Brings Back River North Dance Company & Giordano Jazz Dance

The Harris Theater for Music and Dance is pleased to announce the return of two of its most successful programs. John Mellencamp Tour Begins With Four Weeks of Midwestern Dates, 10/29 - 11/27

Heralded by critics and fans alike, Manilow will perform 27 new performance dates, from September 24th- January 16th. Tickets for Manilow's new, reimagined stage show that is both more intimate and more exciting than ever before go on sale Saturday, August 7th at 10am (PST). Manilow is currently performing 78 shows a year for two years at the Paris Théâtre at Paris Las Vegas.
