We have characters willing to do reprehensible things yet suffer great turmoil. Do they deserve sympathy? If they do, whose job is it to give it to them?

Theatre Under The Stars bursts with Rock n Roll energy as they reopen at the Hobby Center after a 19-month intermission with Rock of Ages. On October 7th, Chris D'Arienzo's rock party opened to great applause as a nostalgic night out greeted Houstonians becoming a much-needed break from the turbulent world. As one walks into the Hobby Center, one can feel a sense of normalcy of a pre-pandemic life as patrons can feel the buzzing of excitement they are about to witness.

Based on the New Testament Gospel of Matthew, this re-imagined, updated version of Stephen Schwartz's Broadway classic takes place in an untraditional setting, and includes the show's parade of beloved musical classics, including 'Day by Day,' 'Learn Your Lessons Well,' 'All for the Best,' 'All Good Gifts,' 'By My Side' and 'Beautiful City.' THE WIZARD OF OZ Comes to Houston This Summer

Main Street Theater (MST) presents The Wizard of Oz based on the book by L. Frank Baum, playing on Saturdays through July 29 at 11am and 2pm and on Sundays July 16 - 30, 2017. This is a rare opportunity to see the musical based on the book rather than the movie. Audiences will be treated to more of the Wicked Witch of the West and Oz himself, among other special numbers. All of MST's Theater for Youth productions are based on children's literature.
