Do you want to play a game? Well Shakespeare's faeries and mystical creatures are upset because last year The Onomatopoeia Theatre Company only produced one show and it wasn't even a comedy! To make up for this, they are magically forcing four of mortal actors from NYC to play a chaotic game where they must perform the roles of the Four Lovers and the Rude Mechanicals from 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'! It will be a night of theatrical chaos full of music, laughter and dance!

Hedgepig Ensemble Theatre's new family-friendly adaptation of Little Women is a swirling enchantment. The production brings the audience right inside the March's family home within the majestic wood-paneled hall of South Oxford Space. Sip hot cocoa, hang Christmas garlands with the sisters, and embark upon a coming-of-age story of four brilliant, unique young women. Thomas G. Waites' rocking adaptation of one of Shakespeare's rarely-performed comedies will play its final three performances this weekend. The hippie lovefest of this re-worked Love's Labour's Lost continues at the Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond Street, between Lafayette and Bowery) from October 24-26 at 8pm. Executive Producers Pam Carter and The Cliplight Theater, in conjunction with Amanda Cooper/ALC Management, are pleased to announce the world premiere of Maverick, co-authored by Frank Beacham and George Demas. A dramatization of co-author Beacham's real-life experience collaborating with Orson Welles in the months leading up to his death, Maverick begins previews at The Connelly Theater (220 E. 4th St., between Ave. A & Ave. B) on February 6, with opening night set for February 13 for a limited run through March 2. In what has become an annual ritual, a total of 36 established and emerging composers, lyricists, and librettists will converge on the Goodspeed campus from mid-January through mid-February 2018 to participate in the Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. The writing teams, representing 18 new musicals, will populate the campus, creating a truly exciting environment for discovery and inspiration.
