'The Chew' Will Air Throughout The Summer With All-New Shows Airing Through June 28

SHEL: A Historically Fictionalized Musical will be the latest new musical to benefit from Broadway Dreams' New Works Development Project. With a book, music, and lyrics by Noah Kieserman, SHEL will receive workshops this summer at Theatre Calgary in Canada, the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center in Charlotte, NC, and the Herb Alpert Center at Harlem School of the Arts in NYC as part of the non-profit's Summer Performing Arts Intensive Tour, The Hits Reimagined.

Royal Family Productions, a non-profit theatre company known for its innovative productions and development of new original work, will extend its acclaimed production of WOMEN ON FIRE: Stories from the Frontlines to accommodate the demand. WOMEN ON FIRE is written, curated, and directed by Royal Family artistic director Chris Henry from stories told to her by a group of anonymous women, with choreography from Lorna Ventura. The show began performances on May 11 and extended twice due to popular demand and critical and industry acclaim. WOMEN ON FIRE: will now run through June 8, 2018 at Royal Family Performing Arts Space (145 West 46th Street, 3rd Floor). Originally performed off-Broadway, the story touches on a wide range of themes and emotions to engage and challenge the audience. Hedwig and the Angry Inch comes to Harrisburg this Memorial Day weekend. Put together a live band, amazing acting, and breath-taking vocals, and this will be a show you do not want to miss. This production, at HMAC Stage on Herr stars Chad-Alan Carr as Hedwig and Lindsay Bretz-Morgan as Yitzhak.
