Grammy, Oscar, Golden Globe, and Emmy award-winning Cher is taking Broadway by storm in the brand new musical The Cher Show. While the superstar does not appear in the show herself, she has been known to take on a showtune or two in the past. In honor of The Cher Show's opening tonight, a show that traces the life and music of Cher herself, I thought I would look back at the best of her twitter legacy! I've picked some of my favorite Cher tweets that prove why she's not only a pop queen, but a twitter queen too!

The Cher Show has announced it will hold a digital lottery! A limited quantity of $30 tickets will be available to each performance via a digital lottery, powered by Broadway Direct, by visiting https://lottery.broadwaydirect.com/show/cher/. The digital lottery will open at 8:00AM EST on Thursday, November 1 for tickets to that evening's performance. Lottery seat locations may vary per performance but will always include seats in the first row.

Broadway In Chicago and Producers Flody Suarez and Jeffrey Seller are pleased to announce a digital lottery, powered by Broadway Direct, for the Pre-Broadway Premiere The Cher Show, which will begin previews on June 12, 2018 at Broadway In Chicago's Oriental Theatre (24 W. Broadway In Chicago and Producers Flody Suarez and Jeffrey Seller announced today complete casting for the Pre-Broadway Premiere of the new musical The Cher Show at Broadway In Chicago's Oriental Theatre.

Cameron Mackintosh's Tony nominated revival of Boublil and Sch nberg's legendary musical Miss Saigon played its final Broadway performance last night after 340 performances. Miss Saigon began previews on March 1st and opened on March 23rd. After the final curtain, the cast, creative team and crew celebrated at Dream Hotel. Check out the exclusive photos below.

Last night, Broadway's Pamela Bob (Hand to God, A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder) held a premiere screening of her original TV series "Livin' On A Prairie" Cast, crew and friends gathered at The Brazen Tavern in midtown to watch the 6 episode series created by and starring Pamela Bob. 

You don't always need a fairy godmother for your dreams to come true. Nineteen-year-old Emily Bautista was lucky enough to have extremely supportive parents and a boatload of talent instead. The thankful and humble young woman is now performing eight times a week in the Broadway revival of “Miss Saigon” as an ensemble member and understudies the lead: Kim. Emily and I actually went to high school together at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts for Musical Theatre, and I was floored and overjoyed to see that she had been cast in the production. Bautista took some time in between shows of the Tony-nominated production to chat with me about her experience landing her first Broadway show.

Rehearsals begin Thursday, January 12 for Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new production of Boublil and Schonberg's legendary musical MISS SAIGON, which will return to its original home, The Broadway Theater (1681 Broadway) beginning performancesWednesday, March 1. The original production of MISS SAIGON opened at the same theater on April 11, 1991 and played there through January 28, 2001. Directed by Laurence Connor (the recent hit revival of LES MISERABLES, School of Rock), the Broadway return of MISS SAIGON will feature four of its London stars, Jon Jon Briones as The Engineer, Eva Noblezada as Kim, Alistair Brammer as Chris and Rachelle Ann Go as Gigi. The cast also includes Katie Rose Clarke as Ellen, Nicholas Christopher as John, Devin Ilaw as Thuy. Lianah Sta. Ana will play the role of Kim at certain performances. MISS SAIGON has its official opening Thursday, March 23. MISS SAIGON will play a limited engagement through January 13, 2018 before launching a North American tour later in the year.

After a sold-out September performance on The High Line, HEARTBEAT OPERA—the daring young company whose unconventional orchestrations and stagings of classic operas have been called 'a radical endeavor' by Alex Ross in The New Yorker—launches its third season on October 31, 2016 at the new music venue National Sawdust with Heartbeat's Annual Benefit Drag Extravaganza, this year titled Queens of the Night: Mozart in Space. Two performances take place at 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus' global smash hit musical MAMMA MIA!, inspired by the songs of ABBA, will now end its historic, record-breaking run on Broadway on Saturday, September 12, 2015, following 5,773 performances. (September 5 was the previously-announced closing date.)
