Anastasia will welcome new cast members to the Broadhurst Theatre this winter. Beginning Tuesday, December 18, original company member Constantine Germanacos will rejoin the hit Broadway musical as "Gleb." Emmy Award Winner Penny Fuller will assume the role of the "Dowager Empress" the week of January 7.

Based on a true story, this folk, bluegrass and country flavored musical is funny and heartwarming. Written by Oscar, Emmy and Grammy winner Steve Martin and Grammy winner Edie Brickell, Bright Star was nominated for five 2016 Tony Awards including Best Musical. Weathervane is pleased to present the regional premiere following it's recent Broadway run and hit National Tour. Paulini will direct. This title joins the already announced Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill and Sister Act. Cast, creative team and a full schedule will be announced shortly. Season 54 officially opens on July 6 with the annual Bubble and Squeak. Performances continue for 8 weeks through August 31 culminating in audience favorite Best Of. Other programming including Patchwork Players, will be announced in the coming weeks.
Anastasia recently recorded the song 'It's Just Like Christmas,' featuring Christy Altomare and Zach Adkins. Altomare wrote the track, which will appear on the 2018 edition of the annual Carols for a Cure album. Watch the music video below!

Max von Essen will play his final performance as "Gleb" in the hit Broadway musical ANASTASIA on December 16, 2018. Max joined the production in December 2017, having taken over for original company member Ramin Karimloo

Featuring such iconic songs as "God Bless the Child" and "Strange Fruit," Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill is an thrilling recreation of Billie Holiday's final concert. Filled with humor, hope and unforgettable storytelling, the legendary singer takes us on a journey through the highs and lows of her tumultuous life while treating the audiences to exuberant renditions of her beloved jazz classics. Alumni and audience favorite Shinnerrie Jackson returns to portray the iconic music legend. Creative team and a full schedule will be announced shortly.
Take a journey to the past with the stars of Anastasia this week! Following Thursday night's curtain call, the show's stars Christy Altomare and Zach Adkins will return onstage for a special performance of the beloved song 'At the Beginning' from the 1997 animated film.
Weathervane Theatre in Whitefield, NH has appointed Ethan Paulini as Producing Artistic Director. Paulini served as Acting Co-Artistic Director during the 2018 53rd Season. He began as a member of the AEA Acting Company in 2012 and has also served as director of the intern program.
The producers of ANASTASIA have just announced that Cody Simpson will join the Broadway company as leading man 'Dmitry' beginning November 29, 2018. Original company member Zach Adkins will play his final performance on Sunday, November 25.

Mary Beth Peil will play her final performance as the "Dowager Empress" in the hit Broadway musical ANASTASIA on September 23, 2018. Peil is an original member of the Broadway company and was nominated for the 2017 Tony and Drama Desk Awards for her performance. She is a celebrated singer and stage and screen veteran, well known for her work in The King and I (Tony nomination), "Dawson's Creek" and "The Good Wife". Next, she can be seen starring in the acclaimed film "The Song of Sway Lake" opening in cinemas September 21, 2018.

Most recently Corey originated the role of Donny Novitski and received critical acclaim for his performance in the Tony Award winning musical Bandstand. Previous roles include two years starring as Jack Kelly in Disney's Newsies, his Broadway debut, which was immediately followed by the Broadway revival of Gigi starring opposite Vanessa Hudgens.
