Upon closing, Anastasia will have played 808 regular and 34 preview performances at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street).

Tony Award Winner Cady Huffman will direct the Weathervane Theatre's production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time as part of season 54. Based on the novel by Mark Haddon and adapted by Simon Stephens, Curious Incident premiered in London at the National Theatre before transferring to Broadway where it was awarded the 2015 Tony Award for Best Play. Curious Incident joins the alternating on August 12. Casting and creative team info will be announced in the coming weeks.

The producers of Anastasia have announced that Cody Simpson has extended his engagement in the hit musical for eight additional weeks. Simpson made his Broadway debut as "Dmitry" on November 29, 2018 and will continue to star in the Broadway production through April 14, 2019.

The new Interns InConcert Series will kick off with a presentation of the Tony Award winning musical Spring Awakening. Based on the 1891 play by Frank Wedekind, Spring Awakening features Book and Lyrics by Steven Sater and a score by Duncan Sheik. Premiering on Broadway in 2008, it won 8 Tony Awards including Best Score, Best Book and Best Musical. A recent revival was also Tony nominated for Best Musical Revival. Marisa Kirby will direct and choreograph.
Producing Artistic Director Ethan Paulini has announced Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks as the 2nd show in the 2019 54th Season. This funny and touching Broadway hit by Richard Alfieri, Six Dance Lessons joins the rotating repertory on July 10. This title joins the already announced Irving Berlin's White Christmas, Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill, The Drowsy Chaperone, Bright Star, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and Sister Act. Cast, creative team and a full schedule will be announced shortly. Season 54 officially opens on July 6 with the annual Bubble and Squeak.
