Performances of Boston Playwrights' Theatre's (BPT) Lost Tempo begin next week.

Centenary Stage Company announces cast for upcoming production of Freyda Thomas' hilarious contemporary re-imagining of Moliere's penultimate play The Learned Ladies. Presented in the Lackland Performing Arts Center the production will run from October 6 through October 22 in the over 500 seat state of the art Sitnik Theatre.

The Playwrights Realm has announced that Sebastian Chacon will join the cast for the final performances in the Realm's World Premiere production of Michael Yates Crowley's acclaimed The Rape of the Sabine Women by Grace B. Matthias.

The Indiana Repertory Theater (IRT) and Syracuse Stage welcomes Seattle-based actor Mickey Rowe as Christopher John Francis Boone in 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time' by Simon Stephens, which won a Tony Award for Best New Play.

Syracuse Stage, Central New York's premiere professional theatre, will host one pay-what-you-will performance for each show in its 2017/2018 season. There will be 76 tickets available for whatever price patrons wish to pay. The first three pay-what-you-will performances are on the following dates:

Abrons Arts Center will present the world premiere of Caborca's adaptation of Roberto Bola o's ground-breaking novel Distant Star, a harrowing tale of fascism and its aftermath. Running September 14 - October 1, this eerily relevant drama weaves Bola o's memories of life (and death) under Pinochet's American-backed dictatorship into a perverse, seductive noir of urgent political necessity.

Arizona Theatre Company (ATC; David Ivers, Artistic Director; Billy Russo, Managing Director) is pleased to welcome back four-time Academy Award-nominee Marsha Mason, who will direct Neil Simon's autobiographical romantic comedy Chapter Two to open ATC's 51st season, Oct. 5-22 at the Herberger Theater Center, 222 E. Monroe in Phoenix.

Virginia Repertory Theatre opens the Signature Season with Shakespeare in Love, based on the screenplay by Marc Norman and Tom Stoppard and adapted by Lee Hall.

Folger Theatre launches its 2017/18 season of power, passion, and politics with William Shakespeare's romantic tragedy of Antony and Cleopatra.

Artistic director Bob Hupp makes his directorial debut as Syracuse Stage opens the 17/18 season with the swashbuckling adventure "The Three Musketeers". This action-packed adaptation of Alexandre Dumas' 1844 classic novel opens Friday, Sept. 22 in the Archbold Theatre at the Syracuse Stage/SU Drama Complex, 820 E. Genesee St. There will be preview performances Wednesday, Sept. 20 and Thursday, Sept. 21.  

Ensemble Studio Theatre (EST) has announced a special one-night-only benefit event featuring two-time Emmy Award-winner Alec Baldwin on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 8pm at EST's Curt Dempster Theatre (545 W. 52nd Street).

Yale Repertory Theatre opens its 2017-18 season with An Enemy of the People by Henrik Ibsen, newly translated from the Norwegian by Paul Walsh, directed by James Bundy, October 6-October 28 at Yale University Theatre (222 York Street). Opening Night is Thursday, October 12.

The World Premiere of Michael Yates Crowley's The Rape of the Sabine Women, By Grace B. Matthias opens on Sunday, September 10 at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street project.

"I will have poetry in my life.  And adventure.  And love. Love above all." The Cleveland Play House produces the Academy Award-winning romantic comedy Shakespeare in Love, complete with swordfights, secret trysts, and backstage drama.
