On Today, November 9, at 9:30 p.m. at The Green Room 42, 570 10th Ave, 4th Floor inside YOTEL,New York, NY 10036, youthful stars of stage and screen are coming together again for the second annual benefit concert for Covenant House New York, #WeHaveAVoice2. #WeHaveAVoice2 will be an energized night of songs, including pop, rock, r & b, oldies, original pieces, and more, but without show tunes or jazz hands. On October 15, teens from stage and screen came together at The Green Room 42 to perform a show they created, entitled #WeHaveaVoice. They played to a packed, sold-out house, singing songs with themes relevant to them including dreams and aspirations, belonging, family, and love. Their benefit concert raised over $2,500 for Covenant House, an organization they felt is important, relevant, and in need of their help, especially after the devastating weather that caused damage to seven of their shelters. Kara Oates, Mavis Simpson-Ernst, and Lucy-Mae Beacock have all signed-on to perform in #WeHaveAVoice: Broadway's Teens, on October 15, 7:00 p.m. at The Green Room 42 in Manhattan's Theater District.

On Sunday, October 15 at 7:00 p.m. at The Green Room 42, New York, NY, young performers from Broadway, Off Broadway, National Tours, Film, and Television, will perform songs that are written for teenagers, but rarely cast with actual teens.

The Belle Of Tombstone a musical with music by Michele Brourman, co-Book/Lyrics by Sheila Rae, and co book by Thomas Edward West had a staged reading last night at the Museum of Jewish Heritage. 

New York Theatre Barn has been incubating and producing new musicals that tell untold stories for the past 10 years. Led by Artistic Director, Joe Barros, the company's 10th season of its New Works Series, features a pre-premiere of the provocative new musical Pretty to the Bone.

The tenth season of New York Theatre Barn's New Works Series continues on Monday, April 24, 2017 at The Cell with pre-premieres of two new musicals: Pretty to the Bone and Ryan White.

Continuing Adirondack Theatre Festival's (ATF) 22nd summer season of professional theatre is HOME. Performances will be held at the Charles R. Wood Theater (207 Glen Street in downtown Glens Falls) July 28th - August 5th at 7:30pm with a special matinee performance on August 3rd at 2:00 pm. On Monday, June 27 at 7:30 p.m. at Don't Tell Mama, several young past and present performers from Broadway joined forces in a benefit cabaret to raise money and show support for the victims, survivors and those suffering as a result of the mass shooting in Orlando this month. The benefit was entitled Broadway Kids for Orlando: All You Need is Love. One hundred percent of the proceeds are being donated to the GLBT Center of Central Florida, and all 49 victims of The Pulse Nightclub shooting were honored in the program.
