Florida Studio Theatre (FST) has announced the appointment of its new Director of Education, Josh Ford. In this role, Ford will oversee, coordinate, and continue to grow FST's education programs for youth and adults. He will also provide leadership as FST launches and develops a new sketch comedy program.

Inspired by a true friendship, Deborah Brevoort's My Lord, What a Night produced by Orlando Shakes in partnership with UCF - Central Florida's largest professional theater company, runs from March 18 - April 26, 2020.

GINGER THATCHER, former principal dancer of the Cleveland Ballet, will be a guest teacher from March 23-27, 2020, and VIOLETA ANGELOVA, former principal dancer of the Suzanne Farrell Ballet, will be a guest teacher from July 20-August 1, 2020 at the Goh Ballet Academy. Ms. Thatcher will be a guest teacher for the New a?" Spring Performance Workshop, and Ms. Angelova will be a member of the faculty for the International Summer Intensive.

Helmed by Cleveland Play House Artistic Director Laura Kepley, this bright new comedy, set during World War II, puts the women on the front lines. Returning to the Gatehouse with another classic musical rarely seen in London, Mark Giesser steps back into the director's chair for his new production of Once Upon A Mattress, the first musical by Mary Rodgers, daughter of legendary musical composer Richard Rodgers.

Florida Studio Theatre (FST) presents its annual fundraiser, the Dangerous Ladies Shindig, on Monday, February 24 in FST's Hegner Theatre Wing. In support of FST's Suffragist Project, a city-wide artistic celebration of the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, attendees are invited to don their finest 1920-inspired garb, best cocktail attire, or dress as their favorite 'Dangerous Lady.' Marie G. Kropp, a long-time FST supporter who has been integral to numerous FST events, including last year's western-themed fundraiser, will chair this event. The Gulf Coast Community Foundation is the lead supporter of FST's Dangerous Ladies Shindig.
