Student Blog: ANIMAL FARM and the Rogue and Peasant Aces

I wanted to take the opportunity to tell you, readers, about the show I am performing in this semester. I play Moses, Mollie, Minimus, Pilkington, and others in Animal Farm, adapted by Ian Wooldridge, based on the book by George Orwell, and directed by Rebecca Conaway ’23! This dramatization remains faithful to the book’s plot and intent and retains both its affection for the animals and the insightfulness of its message.

ABBAFAB A Tribute To ABBA Comes To Warner Theatre On June 16

The Warner Theatre will welcome ABBAFAB, a tribute to the music of ABBA, to the Nancy Marine Studio Theatre on Friday, June 16 at 7:30 pm! Tickets go on sale to Warner Supporters Tuesday, March 28 at 10 am, and to the general public Friday, March 31 at 10 am.

Ensemble Studio Theatre Presents SMART

Ensemble Studio Theatre (Estefanía Fadul and Graeme Gillis, Co-Artistic Directors) and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation (Doron Weber, Vice President and Program Director) will begin performances for Mary Elizabeth Hamilton’s new play SMART on Thursday, March 30. Directed by EST Member Matt Dickson, SMART will run to April 23 with an official press opening on Thursday, April 6 at 545 West 52nd Street. 

Fulton Theatre Presents WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF?

The Fulton Theatre opens Edward Albee's 1962 American classic Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? on Thursday, March 23, 2023. This is the third production in this season's Ellen Arnold Groff Studio Series held in the 4th floor Tell Studio Theatre.

Inaugural Carmel Jazz Festival Set For This August

The inaugural Carmel Jazz Fest is scheduled for August 11 and 12, 2023, in Carmel, IN. The two-day festival will feature 30+ international, national and regional jazz, R&B and blues acts across eight stages throughout Carmel, including The Palladium, The Tarkington, Carmel Gazebo, Carter Green, The Studio Theatre, Midtown Plaza, Feinstein's at Hotel Carmichael, Jazz on the Monon and pop-up performances.  The event includes an upscale art market, beer, wine and food vendors.
