The Kleban Foundation will present the 33rd annual Kleban Prize for Musical Theatre on Monday, February 6 at 5PM in a private ceremony (by invitation only) hosted by ASCAP and BMI at BMI's New York City headquarters (7 World Trade Center).

The Kleban Foundation has announced the recipients of the 33rd annual Kleban Prize for Musical Theatre. The 2023 Kleban Prize for the most promising musical theatre lyricist has been awarded to Ryan Scott Oliver.

The exciting performance schedule includes the Tony Award-winning musical A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder and the Pulitzer Prize-winning labor rights drama, Sweat. The first play, The Baby Monitor, written by Santa Fe resident David Stallings, opens March 4.

The Malt House Theatre, Home of The Haylofters has announced its upcoming production of A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER, Book and Lyrics by Robert L. Freedman, Music, and Lyrics by Steven Lutvak, based on the novel, Israel Rank by Roy Horniman.

After an extensive national search, Geva Theatre Center has announced that the Board of Directors has voted to appoint Elizabeth Williamson as our new Artistic Director. She will partner with Executive Director Christopher Mannelli as Co-CEO of Geva Theatre Center beginning in June 2022.

During the first weekend of December, Ucross, the prestigious artist residency program in Sheridan County, will present award-winning composer and performer Steven Lutvak in a free community master class in partnership with Sheridan College and a ticketed Broadway cabaret concert at the WYO Performing Arts & Education Center. The weekend's events will also include an exclusive preview of “The Ucross Cookbook: Cooking for Artists on a Wyoming Ranch.”

With ten Tony nominations and four wins, including Best Musical, Book, Direction, and Costumes; it also earned seven Drama Desk Awards (including Best Musical), four Outer Critics Circle Awards (including Best Musical), and one Drama League Award (Best Musical).

Shokat Projects will welcome the world-premiere recording of Georgia Stitt’s Hold Fast Your Dreams, performed by the wife-and-husband team, soprano Zoe Allen and conductor/pianist Christopher Allen. Hold Fast Your Dreams is the first single from the Allens’ upcoming album (out September 7, 2021), Beneath the Sky.
