The Bergen County Players (BCP), the 2015 NJACT Community Theatre of the Year, continues its 83rd season with its annual family show, PINOCCHIO, a beloved tale of a wooden puppet who wants to become a real boy, a classic story that will delight young and old alike. Under the direction of Terri Caust and musical direction by Steve Bell, PINOCCHIO will be performed at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell from November 28th through December 20th.

ABC News' “Good Morning America” presents “40 for 40”, a 40-hour continuous broadcast to celebrate “GMA's” 40th anniversary.

The Bergen County Players will kick off their 83rd season in high style with a production of the classic musical 'Guys and Dolls', celebrating the incredibly entertaining musical's 65th anniversary, over five weekends beginning Saturday, September 12th and concluding Saturday, October 10th. Vision Vehicle Productions, producers of "PASS THE LIGHT" opening in select Carmike Cinemas nationwide on Feb. 6, announced today that they have launched the campaign "See the Light" on crowd-funding platform Indiegogo to bring the message that God's love is for everyone to people who wouldn't otherwise be able to see the faith-inspired film.

Vision Vehicle Productions announced today that the independent studio has sold worldwide rights to its next two features, PASS THE LIGHT and CONSTRUCTION, to DigiNext. Both films will be released theatrically and downstream through DigiNext's unique direct-to-consumer (DtoC) platform, a customized end-to-end solution for independent features and documentaries. Digiplex (NASDAQ: DCIN), DigiNext's JV co-owner with Nehst Out, agreed to be acquired by Carmike Cinemas (NASDAQ: CKEC), the nation's fourth largest exhibitor, in a transaction announced in May. Inclusive of the 200+ screens being purchased, Carmike's domestic footprint will expand to approximately 3,000 screens across 41 states. Vision Vehicle Productions' features will be the first narrative films to utilize this unique theatrical release and DtoC distribution platform.

Derek Keeling is best known for his run on NBC's 'Grease: You're the One That I Want,' in which he placed third in Broadway's largest national casting call. Keeling made his Broadway debut in the summer of 2008 as Danny Zuko in Grease. He also played Johnny Cash in the first National Tour of 'Million Dollar Quartet.' He is continuing to pay tribute to Johnny Cash with a special performance in his home state of West Virginia. I recently caught up with Derek and he shared his reasons for wanting to do the tribute.

The theater will be alive with The Sound of Music when a one-hour concert sing-along adaptation of the classic show is presented by Bergen County Players (BCP) as the final Second Stage production of the 80th season. Running for just three performances, from June 21st through June 23rd, shows will be on Friday and Saturday night at 8pm while the Sunday matinee curtain will be raised at 2pm. Celebrating 80 years, the Bergen County Players (BCP) will present Beehive, The 60s Musical, a rollicking revue of a musical decade dominated by historically powerful female performers. Under the direction of Dottie Fischer, Beehive will be performed at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell from tonight, February 16th through March 9th.
