Last night, April 23, Ted Baker's Flagship store on 5th Avenue hosted an evening of appetizers, cocktails, music and shopping in support of Zara Aina. The Second National Tour of THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, broke the house record in its first week of performances at the Bank of America Theatre (18 West Monroe). The show grossed $1,493,961 for the week ending December 16. THE BOOK OF MORMON began performances on December 11, 2012, with performances now extended through September 8, 2013.

Broadway In Chicago and the producers of the new musical THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, announced today that tickets will be available for 14 additional weeks of performances of THE BOOK OF MORMON at the Bank of America Theatre (18 West Monroe). A new block of tickets for performances June 4 - September 8, 2013 will go on-sale to the public on Monday, January 7 at 10 a.m. Tickets are sold out through March 3, 2013, with some tickets still available March 5 - June 2, 2013.

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, will launch its Second National Tour next month in Chicago, with Nic Rouleau, direct from the Broadway company, starring in the role of Elder Price. Ben Platt will star opposite Rouleau as Elder Cunningham.

Philippine show biz royalty Karylle Tatlonghari, who will essay the role of Clara Johnson in Stages Production Specialists Inc.'s Philippine premiere of Broadway musical 'The Light In the Piazza,' has found a new leading man in New York University Tisch School of the Arts alumnus Stephen Mark Lukas. He auditioned for the role of young Italian Fabrizio Naccarelli in N.Y. Matthew Morrison and Aaron Lazar previously played the romantic lead in the Broadway production.
