Disney's Aladdin, the hit Broadway musical, launches its 5th smash year on Broadway by celebrating its 4th anniversary on Tuesday, March 20th, 2018, at the New Amsterdam Theatre.

Disney's Aladdin just welcomed Arielle Jacobs as Jasmine on Broadway. Jacobs originated the role in the Australian production in 2016 and is the sister of original Broadway star Adam Jacobs, currently leading the North American tour in the title role. It's the hard-knock life! Paper Mill Playhouse, recipient of the 2016 Regional Theatre Tony Award, presents the hit Broadway Tony Award-winning musical Annie, based on 'Little Orphan Annie,' with book by Thomas Meehan, music by Charles Strouse, and lyrics by Martin Charnin, directed by Paper Mill's Producing Artistic Director Mark S. The Public Theater announced today that a one-night-only 50th Anniversary benefit celebration of the legendary musical HAIR, which first premiered at The Public in 1967, will take place on Wednesday, October 25.

The acclaimed Broadway Sings concert series will continue on December 4th at 7:30pm, honoring the foremost and most influential act of the rock era with Broadway Sings The Beatles.

Eva Noblezada, Carol Angeli, Emily Bautista, Steel Burkhardt, Billy Bustamante, Graham Scott Flemming, Gaby Gamache, Dan Horn, Lina Lee, Dorcas Leung, Paul Miller, Robert ?P?endilla, Ariel Reid, Liana St. Ana, Kimmy Truong, Travis Ward-Osborne and Paige Williams have been added to the cast of the special evening SHOW/SWAP.

Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in Downtown Pittsfield, MA, is wrapping up its summer season with This, written by Obie Award-winner Melissa James Gibson and directed by Louisa Proske. After receiving rave reviews during its off Broadway run in 2009, the play arrived on the St. Germain Satge, where it will run through August 27.

The Actors Fund, the national human services organization that helps everyone in performing arts and entertainment in times of need, crisis or transition, just held its Annual Gala last night, May 8, 2017. The evening celebrated Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning actor Danny DeVito, two-time Academy Award winner Sally Field, outstanding corporate leader Jo Ann Jenkins, CEO of AARP and 21-time Tony Award-winning theatrical director and producer Harold Prince. Mr. DeVito, Ms. Field and Ms. Jenkins were awarded The Actors Fund's Medal of Honor. Mr. Prince received The Actors Fund's Lifetime Achievement Award.

The house at Disney's Aladdin on Broadway had their wish granted when Whoopi Goldberg made a surprise one-night-only appearance last night, January 19th. Goldberg's appearance was taped for a segment for ABCs 'The View' this Thursday January 26th that will also include the show-stopping number 'Friend Like Me,' filmed at Broadway's New Amsterdam Theatre.
