Broadway Sings The Beatles Moves To Highline Ballroom Dec 4 and Updates Line Up

The lineup is complete for the next installment of the Broadway Sings concert series, honoring the foremost and most influential act of the rock era with Broadway Sings The Beatles. The one-night-only concert, held December 4 at 7:30pm, will feature completely new arrangements of the hits of this legendary band, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing original orchestrations.

The concert, originally scheduled to take place at The Concert Hall at New York Society for Ethical Culture, will now be presented at Highline Ballroom, where Broadway Sings the Beatles performed last year to a sold-out crowd. All tickets for NYSEC will be honored at Highline Ballroom.

Broadway Sings the Beatles will feature the talents of Felicia Boswell (Memphis), Steel Burkhardt (Aladdin), Dawn Cantwell (Wicked), Christine Dwyer (Wicked), Alyssa Fox (Frozen), Drew Gehling (Waitress), Caitlin Houlahan (Waitress), Brittney Johnson (Sunset Boulevard), Alison Luff (Escape to Margaritaville), Corey Mach (Godspell), Jelani Remy (The Lion King), Ciara Renée (Pippin), Nic Rouleau (The Book of Mormon), Colton Ryan (Dear Evan Hansen), Antoine L. Smith (Miss Saigon), and Alysha Umphress (On the Town).

The concert will give tribute to this groundbreaking rock band and their greatest songs, including "Let it Be", "Yesterday, "Hey Jude", "Blackbird", and "Come Together". The music will be orchestrated and arranged by Joshua Stephen Kartes.

The Beatles are widely regarded as the most influential band of the rock era. They have received ten Grammy Awards and an Academy Award. They are also the best-selling band in history, with sales over 600 million records worldwide. In 2008, they topped Billboard magazine's list of the all-time most successful "Hot 100" artists; they also hold the record for the most number-one hits on the Hot 100 chart.

Broadway Sings The Beatles, produced and directed by Corey Mach (Invisible Thread, Wicked), will celebrate the talent and success of this iconic, legendary band. Previous artists honored in the series include Adele, Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Sara Bareilles, and Whitney Houston.

Tickets, priced $20 - $65 (plus applicable fees), may be purchased at Highline Ballroom box office, Highline Ballroom.com, online at ticketweb.com or 866.468.7619. All performers are subject to change.
