Er is de afgelopen maanden enorm hard gewerkt en de voorstelling staat als een huis. Zowel Martijn, Roosmarijn als Annick voelen zich goed, maar houden zich aan de quarantaineregels. Stage Entertainment staat voor artistieke topkwaliteit, de voorstelling kan niet gespeeld worden als drie van de zeven rollen niet op kunnen gaan. Er wordt achter de schermen met strenge en strikte protocollen gewerkt, iedereen die betrokken is bij de productie wordt dagelijks getest, maar met deze besmettelijke coronavariant hou je helaas niet tegen dat mensen buiten de productie om alsnog besmet raken.’’

'Gisteren waren wij in de veronderstelling, dat de versoepelingen van de coronamaatregelen zouden betekenen, dat theaters weer open zouden kunnen met een maximale zaalbezetting van 1.250 bezoekers. Deze ochtend werden wij onaangenaam geconfronteerd met de berichtgeving dat bezoekers op 1,5 meter afstand geplaceerd moeten worden. Dit komt feitelijk neer op zaalbezettingen van 20-30% en dat is voor vele vrije theaterproducenten verliesgevend. Deze 'versoepeling' brengt ons geen stap verder en betekent in feite een verlenging van de lockdown. Zoals vaker benoemd en bewezen, is het theater veilig te bezoeken. Er is een strenge handhaving op QR-codes in combinatie met ID-bewijs, bezoekers worden geplaceerd, er is uitstekende ventilatie en voldoende ruimte om afstand te houden. We hopen dat het kabinet dit ook inziet en alsnog afziet van de 1,5 meter regel, zodat we met reële voorwaarden onze voorstellingen kunnen spelen.'
