Lyric Theatre's latest New Work is the Native musical DISTANT THUNDER. Distant Thunder tells the story of Darrell Waters. The young lawyer returns home to a community he doesn't remember and re-learns about his heritage, regaining new friendships and relationships along the way. Native culture is alive and on full display in this beautiful musical.
Amas Musical Theatre Presents New Musical DISTANT THUNDER in December

Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff, Artistic Producer) in celebration of its 50th season, will present Distant Thunder with book by Lynne Taylor-Corbett and Shaun Taylor-Corbett, music and lyrics by Chris Wiseman and Shaun Taylor-Corbett, with additional music and lyrics by Robert Lindsey-Nassif and Michael Moricz, the fourth and final new musical in development included in this year's 'Dare to Be Different' series. Performances are Thursday, December 6 at 3pm & 7pm and Friday, December 7 at 3pm at A.R.T./New York Theatres (502 West 53rd Street - 10th Avenue & 53rd Street).

The Association on American Indian Affairs honored Shaun Taylor-Corbett (Blackfeet, Frankie Valli in the Jersey Boys National Tour), Ernie Stevens, Jr. (Oneida, Chairman, National Indian Gaming Association) and Martha Redbone (Cherokee/Choctaw, Award Winning Recording Artist and Activist) last Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the Walter Reade Theater at Lincoln Center (144 West 65 Street).
