Marking the 10th anniversary of the revered playwright's death, Pinter at the Pinter features all Pinter's short plays, alongside a selection of his poems and sketches.

In what promises to be an exciting event within the Pinter at the Pinter season, Lee Evans will appear in an eclectic mixed bill alongside stage and screen favourite Meera Syal. They join the previously announced Keith Allen and Tamsin Greig from 25th October to 8th December, for 23 performances only.

Some of the country's most exciting young stars - Jessica Barden, Kate O'Flynn, Hayley Squires, Luke Thallon and Russell Tovey have joined the highly-anticipated Harold Pinter season Pinter at the Pinter, together with the legendary Sir Antony Sher and Penelope Wilton.

Keith Allen, Phil Davis, Paapa Essiedu, Rupert Graves, Gary Kemp, John Simm and Maggie Steed have joined the extraordinary company of Pinter at the Pinter, the unprecedented season featuring all twenty of Harold Pinter's one-act plays, running from September 2018 to February 2019, to mark the tenth anniversary of the Nobel Prize winner's death. The plays are directed by Jamie Lloyd, Patrick Marber, Ed Stambollouian, Lyndsey Turner and Lia Williams, with design by Soutra Gilmour, lighting design by Jon Clark and Richard Howell, and sound and music by George Dennis and Ben & Max Ringham. Love is in the air, and revolution too. Baz Luhrmann's beloved 1992 film (originally a student play, now back on stage as a musical) is even more adamantly anti-establishment in this latest incarnation, opening out a delicious satire of 1980s Australian competitive ballroom into a more universal story of the fight for fearless self-expression. The Huntington Theatre Company's production of "Merrily We Roll Along" took home seven awards, including Best Musical in the Large Stage category, and SpeakEasy Stage's "Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night" earned five Small Stage (including Best Play) honors at the 22nd Annual IRNE Awards held last night.

The Prologue and role of Peter Quint will be shared by Elgan Ll?r Thomas and William Morgan. Elgan Ll?r Thomas makes his English National Opera debut as a new ENO Harewood Artist having also covered the role of Count Almaviva in The Barber of Seville. A 2016/17 Scottish Opera Emerging Artist, credits include The Elixir of Love, and The Trial with other credits including Il Barbiere di Siviglia (Mananan International Festival), Paul Bunyan (Welsh National Youth Opera) and Eugene Onegin (Garsington Opera). He is currently singing in The Barber of Seville with the Theatre des Champs-Elysees.

Evening Standard has revealed its shortlist for the Evening Standard Theatre Awards 2017. There are now three stars competing for each award. The ceremony will be held at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, on Sunday, December 3. The awards will be co-hosted by Evgeny Lebedev, Dame Anna Wintour, Cate Blachett, and Lin-Manuel Miranda.

The Donmar Warehouse announces today two new plays for the 2017 autumn period.  Internationally-acclaimed theatre artist, Yael Farber, makes her Donmar debut directing David Harrower's haunting Knives in Hens with full casting that includes Christian Cook, Judith Roddy and Matt Ryan.  This will be the play's first major London revival since its premiere in 1995, when it instantly established Harrower as one of the UK's leading playwrights.
