Kristen Stewart to Receive the Golden Eye Award at Zurich Film Festival

Kristen Stewart will be the recipient of the Zurich Film Festival's prestigious Golden Eye Award. Stewart will be in Zurich with director Benedict Andrews to celebrate her latest film SEBERG in which she plays the title character, Jean Seberg. The film receives its Swiss premiere on Wednesday October 2nd.

ORPHEUS ALIVE Excerpt To Be Performed At Works & Process At The Guggenheim

Karen Kain, Artistic Director of The National Ballet of Canada, today announced that excerpts from Orpheus Alive by Choreographic Associate Robert Binet and American composer Missy Mazzoli will be performed as part of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum's Works & Process series at the Peter B. Lewis Theater, New York City, September 15, 2019 at 3:00 pm.

Berkeley Rep Welcomes New Fellows For the 2019-20 Season

Berkeley Repertory Theatre announced today that 15 young professionals have been awarded fellowships for the 2019-20 season. Theatre graduates from universities across the nation apply for this program that provides a year-long deep dive into the operations of the award-winning theatre. Fellowships cover a variety of artistic and administrative disciplines and provide specialized training that assists fellows with embarking on a professional career in the arts. Additionally, fellows participate in career development seminars, build professional contacts, and even serve as mentors themselves for Berkeley Rep's annual Teen One-Acts Festival.

Entercom Announces Live Broadcast Special on Mental Health Awareness

Entercom, a leading media and entertainment company and one of the two largest radio broadcasters in the U.S., today announced a two-hour live, commercial-free broadcast special, “I'm Listening,” to raise awareness around mental health and mark the start of National Suicide Prevention Week. As part of its multiplatform yearlong “I'm Listening” campaign, the broadcast will air nationwide on Sunday, September 8 at 7:00 a.m. across more than 235 stations and via each station's livestream on RADIO.COM in their respective time zones. The yearlong campaign also includes suicide prevention PSAs, on-air promos and a dedicated website with information and resources to end the stigma around mental health discussions.

Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing have announced the North American tour of the Tony and Grammy Award-winning hit musical Beautiful- The Carole King Musical will welcome Kennedy Caughell (Carole King), James D. Boys of Fall Announces Upcoming Headline Tour

RAVE THEATER FESTIVAL Announces Festival Awards

The inaugural Rave Theater Festival wrapped up over the weekend, and festival awards were given to select shows and performers.  Winners were chosen for outstanding production, outstanding musical, outstanding play, outstanding performances, outstanding direction, outstanding design, outstanding original score, outstanding book of a musical, outstanding choreography, outstanding ensemble, and outstanding marketing.  Fancy Maids by Harold Hodge Jr. led the awardees with three.  Four more shows were recognized with two awards each, including Back, Oceanborn, The Perfect Fit, and The Tycoons!.

Morristown Jazz & Blues Festival Begins August 17

The ninth Morristown Jazz & Blues Festival will be held on the Green on Saturday, August 17, from noon until 10:00 p.m. This year the annual free concert pays tribute to the 40th anniversary of the world's greatest jazz radio station WBGO and to the 50th anniversary of the Woodstock Music Festival. An initiative by Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty, it is made possible by the generous support of a long list of sponsors.
