The Groundlings Theatre in Los Angeles has had a busy last few days with scores of alumni and special guests participating in their recent shows!

President & Producer of Disney Theatrical Productions Thomas Schumacher; Caissie Levy (Frozen on Broadway); Nicholas Christopher (Hamilton on Broadway); Jennifer Locke (Hamilton national tour); creator/Executive Producer Tim Federle, Olivia Rodrigo, and Joshua Bassett (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series on Disney +); Luca Padovan and Isabella Russo (School of Rock); Jeff Calhoun (Newsies, Between The Lines); Rob Rokicki (The Lighting Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical); and Lotte Wakeham (Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical) are some of the stars and creatives confirmed for the 2020 iTheatrics Junior Theater Festival Atlanta (#JTF).

NBC has shared a first look at their new musical drama series, Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist, premiering Tuesday, January 7!

NBC celebrates the holiday season in style with its hugely popular “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” special on Wednesday, Dec. 4 (8-10 p.m. ET/PT). Just before the lighting of the iconic tree in Rockefeller Plaza, audiences will be treated to festive performances by Chicago, Brett Eldredge, Derek & Julianne Hough, John Legend, Idina Menzel, Lea Michele, NE-YO, Gwen Stefani, Straight No Chaser, Skylar Astin & Alex Newell from NBC's midseason drama 'Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist,” and appearances by Miss America 2019 Nia Franklin and the Radio City Rockettes. NBC's “Today” anchors Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Craig Melvin and Al Roker will host the joyous event.

On January 7, NBC audiences will get a sneak peek at the premiere episode of new high-concept drama Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist. The series premiere will be available to stream on the NBC App and Hulu following its on-air premiere preview.

An inspired choice of a show, the Hollywood Bowl has decided to present an effervescently buoyant new production of the Tony Award-winning 1986 musical INTO THE WOODS, Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's much beloved twisted take on traditional fairy tale stories mashed together with witty charm, tongue-tying lyrics, and gallows humor. Directed and choreographed by Robert Longbottom, this enjoyable, sublime production is exquisite and thoroughly delightful from start to finish---much of which can be attributed to its top-notch, musical theater-trained cast that includes Tony Winners Sutton Foster and Patina Miller giving exceptional acting and singing performances alongside theater favorites Cheyenne Jackson, Skylar Astin, Sierra Boggess, Hailey Kilgore, and Stranger Things breakout star Gaten Matarazzo. The show continues with two additional evening performances July 27-28, 2019.

Olivier nominated actress Sierra Boggess (The Little Mermaid, Phantom, Love Never Dies) will appear on On the Rocks Radio Show Tuesday, July 23rd at 8pmPST/11pmEST with host TV/radio personality Alexander Rodriguez for an in depth chat about life in the theatre before she appears as Cinderella in The Hollywood Bowl's star studded Into the Woods.

This summer, the LA Phil introduces CODA Plus at the Hollywood Bowl. The new group offers young professionals an insider's view of five select LA Phil performances through exclusive pre-concert events, featuring guest speakers and complimentary drinks and small bites.
