Okay we know fetch is never going to happen but the Mean Girls tour is! We stopped by rehearsals to chat with the cast as they head into the high school jungle.

Mean Girls, the record-breaking new musical comedy produced by Lorne Michaels, Stuart Thompson, Sonia Friedman, and Paramount Pictures based on the hit film, is pleased to announce full casting for the First National Tour. Tonight, dozens of cast members from the national tour of Newsies will reunite on the stage of Feinstein's/54 Below with The Newsboys' Variety Show. Audiences can expect to be dazzled by a variety of musical styles, dancing, and other special talents on display.

This November, Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond. Scroll down for details!

On November 6th, dozens of cast members from the national tour of Newsies will reunite on the stage of Feinstein's/54 Below with The Newsboys' Variety Show. Audiences can expect to be dazzled by a variety of musical styles, dancing, and other special talents on display.

Now IS the time to seize the day! BroadwayWorld has learned that Disney will film NEWSIES this August, at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles. Returning for the filming will be original Broadway cast members Jeremy Jordan and Kara Lindsay. The production, currently on tour plays the Pantages from Aug. 30, 2016 - Sept. 4, 2016. There is no word yet if the production is headed towards the big or small screen, or who else might be joining or re-joining the cast for the filming.

Casting has been announced for the Charlotte engagement of Disney's  NEWSIES.   The Tony® Award-winning production will begin performances at Belk Theater at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, August 9 for a limited engagement through Sunday, August 14. 

Broadway In Chicago is pleased to announce casting for the Chicago engagement of Disney's NEWSIES. The Tony Award-winning production will begin performances at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W Randolph) on Thursday, July 28 for a limited engagement through Sunday, August 7.

The touring cast of Newsies will perform the song 'Santa Fe' live from Santa Fe, NM on Monday, June 20. The event will be streamed to Disney's Facebook page beginning at 1 PM EST and will last approximately 20 minutes, according to Variety.

Casting has been announced for the Vancouver engagement of Disney's NEWSIES.   The Tony Award-winning production will begin performances at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on Tuesday, July 5 for a limited engagement through Sunday, July 10. 

Paula Abdul attended a performance of Disney's Newsies at The Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa on Saturday, May 28.  Abdul manages cast member Michael Dameski (to her right), winner of "So You Think You Can Dance" Australia in 2014.

Now after more than a year, NEWSIES' North American First National Tour is nearing its conclusion, finally stopping at Orange County's Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa through May 29 (the musical will motor down to San Diego the following week). After seeing the original Broadway production in NYC and then seeing its Los Angeles debut at the Pantages Theatre last year, experiencing this exuberant, high-energy, smile-inducing crowd-pleaser again here in my own home turf felt like a special gift. NEWSIES is a fun, uplifting night at the theater... and continues to be in subsequent, multiple viewings. With its winning combination of incredibly acrobatic dancing, family-friendly comedy, engaging story, awesome singing, and dazzling showmanship, there is a lot to love with this show---whether you're 5 or 95. Heck, it certainly made a #Fansie out of me.

Casting has been announced for the Orange County engagement of DISNEY'S NEWSIES. The Tony Award®-winning production will begin performances at Segerstrom Center for the Arts on May 17 for a limited engagement through May 29 in Segerstrom Hall.

Casting has been announced for the Seattle engagement of Disney's NEWSIES.   The Tony Award-winning production will begin performances at The Paramount Theatre on Tuesday, April 26 for a limited engagement through Sunday, May 1.
