​​​​​​​The New York Pops, led by Music Director Steven Reineke, is presenting American Strings: From Folk to Film, a digital concert recorded at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music, now available free and on-demand through August 25.

Broadways Best Shows and The Actors Fund present Raquel Bitton’s acclaimed musical event “PIAF... Her Story... her Songs” beginning Monday, February 15 at 7:30PM ET. The concert will be available for four days through Thursday, February 18. 

KAREN MASON will present a special online video broadcast of her acclaimed show 'Mason at Mama's in March,' recorded at Don't Tell Mama in 2015. The show will be available to stream on a strictly limited basis for three performance times only: Thursday, October 15 at 8:00 PM; Saturday, October 17 at 8:00 PM; and Sunday, October 18 at 3:00 PM.

KAREN MASON - the acclaimed Broadway star and concert artist - will present a special online video broadcast of her acclaimed show 'Mason at Mama's in March,' recorded at the legendary New York nightclub Don't Tell Mama in 2015.

The Songs of Kristen & Bobby Lopez, on Monday, April 27, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall, presented by The New York Pops.

The 48th season of the popular Highlights In Jazz series gets off to a roaring start on Feb. 13, 2020, when producer Jack Kleinsinger presents the Highlights In Jazz 47th Anniversary Gala. Featured performers include bassist Jay Leonhart, pianist Tomoko Ohno, drummer Bobby Sanabria, saxophonist Steve Wilson, percussionist/drummer Memo Acevedo, violinist/mandolinist Aaron Weinstein, and drummer Vito Lesczak. And, in keeping with the beloved HIJ tradition, a surprise special guest will be on hand for the concert, held at BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center.

Recipient of the 2019 MAC Lifetime Achievement Award, Karen Mason shares her love of the music of songwriters, John Kander & Fed Ebb, in her new show: KANDER & EBB & ALL THAT JAZZ! A homage to one of Broadway's and motion picture's most prolific songwriting teams, John Kander and Fred Ebb, the duo is noted for such landmark musicals as Cabaret, Chicago, Funny Lady and New York, New York.

BroadwayWorld is saddened to report the passing of Phyllis Newman. The news was shared on social media by her daughter, Amanda Green. Newman was 86 years old.

The Stamford Symphony presents One Singular Sensation - Marvin Hamlisch 75 on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at The Palace Theatre, 61 Atlantic Street, Stamford, CT 06901. The Gala Benefit is the only official 75th birthday celebration and will be hosted by Terre Blair-Hamlisch. This special evening will celebrate the genius of the legendary composer.

Singer Lynn Henderson just announced the addition of a very special guest for the final performance of her show, A Skitch in Time: My Friendship with Maestro Skitch Henderson. The show is a tribute to the New York Pops founder who built the Pops from an idea to a beloved international institution. For the November 17th performance at Don't Tell Mama, 2018 Grammy nominee and New York Pops Violinist, Sara Caswell, will appear.  Sara is a Skitch Henderson discovery who joined the Pops right out of college.

Steven Reineke celebrated his tenth anniversary as Music Director of The New York Pops during the orchestra's current 2018-19 season. Steven is only the second person to hold the position of Music Director of The New York Pops, which was founded by Skitch Henderson in 1983, and is the largest independent pops orchestra in the United States and the only professional symphonic orchestra in New York City specializing in popular music.
