Sketchworks Comedy, Atlanta's award-winning live sketch comedy company, will offer their sketch comedy writing classes over the video conferencing platform Zoom.

Sketchworks Comedy, Atlanta's award-winning live sketch comedy company, has named Maria Liatis as their new Education Director - taking over the role from Sanna Erica. Additionally, Bill Szabrak has stepped down as Head Writer. John D. Babcock III takes over that position.

Sketchworks Comedy, Atlanta's award-winning live sketch comedy company and organizer of the Inaugural ATL SketchFest, have narrowed down all the submissions to select which groups will be performing in the sketch comedy festival later this month.

Atlanta's award-winning and longest-running sketch comedy company, Sketchworks Comedy, has filed a lawsuit against the rights'-holders of Grease. Sketchworks Comedy wrote and produced a parody of Grease titled Vape: The Musical. The show had a successful run in Atlanta and was set to premiere in New York City in August, but was cancelled after the owners of the musical Grease, including Jim Jacobs, one of its writers, issued a cease and desist letter.

Sketchworks Comedy, Atlanta's award-winning live sketch comedy company, is organizing the Inaugural ATL SketchFest. The 3 night event will take place at West Midtown's Pulp Atlanta starting Thursday, September 26 and concluding Saturday, September 28. Shows will begin at 8PM. Over those 3 nights, audiences will have the opportunity to see 9 different sketch comedy groups (3 performing each night). Organizers are also accepting comedy video shorts which will be shown between live performances.

Sketchworks Comedy, Atlanta's award-winning live sketch comedy company, brings their award-winning musical parody of 'Grease' - entitled 'Vape' - to New York City. Performances will be at Improv Asylum in Chelsea August 8, 9, and 10, 2019. Performances start at 8PM (house opens at 7:30PM). Following Saturday night's performance, there will be a Talk Back with the show's director, writer, producers, and leads.

After a group of actors with Atlanta's award winning comedy troupe Sketchworks Comedy saw a recent production of GREASE, they decided to take the beloved musical and poke fun at some of the more polarizing story elements in the classic show. VAPE, a musical parody of GREASE, represents the nostalgia of the classic with a hilariously updated storyline and lyrics.
