Adam Sandler To Be Honored with Esteemed ASCAP Founders Award

Promising a night filled with music, laughter and Hollywood magic, The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) today announces that movie star, songwriter and comedy powerhouse Adam Sandler will be honored with The ASCAP Founders Award at the 37th annual 2020 Pop Music Awards. The invitation-only event, which celebrates the ASCAP writers and publishers of the most-performed music of the past year, takes place on April 28 in Los Angeles.

ONR Releases 'Sober' From Forthcoming 'Must Stop' EP

Hailing from rural isolation on a sheep farm in the Scottish Highlands, ONR (pronounced “honor”) is carving his own lane in pop with new track “Sober” (feat. Carina Jade), out today. Aglow with an '80's-inspired throb, “Sober” is his debut release on Warner Records and the first off his forthcoming Must Stop EP, out May 15. The EP features four sparkling synth-pop gems with an anthemic rock undertow that are almost entirely written, played and self-produced in his home studio in Dumfries and Galloway. An official video is also out today.

Tom Ashbrook Releases New Single 'Sines'

Tom Ashbrook releases his new single 'Sines' on 25 October via The Other Songs, which premiered via Clash Magazine. This is the title track lifted from his upcoming Sines EP, to be released on 22 November, mastered by Mike Cave (Bob Dylan, Elvis Costello, The Charlatans) and mixed by Mike Halls (Clean Cut Kid). Previous single 'Toon Soon' recently premiered on Vents Magazine, and he has already seen support from Son of Marketing, Mr Foxx Frequency and Music Week. Ashbrook has toured extensively throughout his life and has shared the stage with Simply Red's Mick Hucknell at the Royal Albert Hall, played alongside Jools Holland as a session musician, and composed for the prestigious Matthew Bourne Dance Company. In addition, he worked alongside Sir Paul McCartney and 6ix Toys composing the anthem for Liverpool's 2008 award as European Capital of Culture city and toured with well known Pink Floyd Tribute band, Brit Floyd.

Electro-pop Sensation TGC (The Green Children) Share New Single 'Echo'

Electro-pop sensation TGC (The Green Children) have shared their new single 'Echo', accompanied by a B-side 'Bad Side', via Illuminated City on the 8th of November. The track has just premiered via Wonderland. 'Echo' and 'Bad Side' were mixed by Miles Walker (Sia, Gwen Stefani, Coldplay) and mastered by Colin Leonard (Echosmith, Leona Lewis, Icona Pop) at Sing Mastering. The single follows the duo's sultry summer hit 'Symbiotic', that has already accumulated over 1.6 million hits on Youtube, in the lead-up to the release of TGC's highly anticipated third album to be released later this year. Their self-produced debut album, Encounter (2010), was nominated in the first round of voting for a US Grammy Award in two categories; Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album. TGC have garnered substantial support from the likes of Rolling Stone Magazine, Huffington Post, Clash Magazine, Music Week, FGUK Magazine and prominent YouTube channel Mr Deep Sense, and have racked up over 60 million YouTube views.
